Make sure to improve the documentation for recurring issues. Alteryx is somewhat user-friendly and easier to work with compared to Informatica PowerCenter. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
Alteryx significantly reduces the time spent searching for specific information. It handles all my analytics tasks efficiently. Once the workflows are set up, it processes the data and outputs it for further analysis in Power BI. Without Alteryx, these tasks would take much longer. The cloud version could be improved, as it is less capable than the desktop version. Overall, however, it is an excellent tool. I rate it a nine.

You can use this tool if you want to do a lot of automation. It is easy for users to learn and use it. The drag-and-drop interface works fine for us. I rate it a seven out of ten.
Overall, I would recommend Alteryx for complex data analysis needs. We are considering moving to Tableau Prep. The solution is great as a standalone product. However, there are certain add-ons provided by Alteryx that are very useful but come with additional costs on top of the licensing fees. This aspect can be a bit of a downside. So, overall, considering this factor, I would rate Alteryx at around seven out of ten. There are numerous benefits to using Alteryx. It's user-friendly and allows for data transformations, making tasks easy to understand.

To someone evaluating whether to go for Alteryx, I would say it's more simplistic, and you don't need a computer science engineering degree to use it. However, analysts should have a basic understanding of databases and SQL. If your analysts possess these skills, they can quickly grasp the solution. Additionally, staying closely connected with your IT teams during implementation is important to ensure that all components are installed for optimal results. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Alteryx uses the UI interface wherein you can easily do a lot of things, and it doesn't have to code a lot. My initial objective was to understand if a non-technical person with a small data science team could leverage a platform that can do a lot of things other than putting in a lot of resources. That's one of the reasons why our company chose Alteryx. Alteryx is one of the few tools where user experience and customer feedback are up to the mark. I was from a non-technical background, and I wanted to create operators and do a lot of analysis and data cleaning on my own. With Alteryx, I didn't have to do anything except create the flow. I would recommend Alteryx to other users. Overall, I rate Alteryx ten out of ten.
In today's world, where every field deals with data, it is essential to have tools that enable us to manipulate, clean, transform, and build dashboards from data. Traditionally, Python and other programming languages were used for data preparation, but now with Alteryx Online, even individuals without coding experience can enter the field and provide valuable solutions to clients. This makes it a useful tool for anyone who needs to work with data. I rate Alteryx a nine out of ten.

Alteryx is the best solution for people who want their data in a structured way. It is a bit complicated for a new user. The complexity of the tool is evident by the fact that only if you provide an exact input to this tool it will give you the output. However, if you know a little about Alteryx, it is a very good tool for you. We are using an on-cloud deployment for this solution. Overall, I rate Alteryx a seven out of ten.
I am not using the latest version of the solution. We're always one or two versions behind the latest, as we only do updates once or twice a year. The great thing about the solution is that if you know Excel well, it translates very well into Alteryx. It's important to have an open mind; however, I'd recommend everyone give it a try. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

I rate this solution a seven out of ten. We target different domains because Alteryx is a product that can fit all kinds of domains. For the next release, they should focus on the cloud. They should be platform agnostic so they can be easily integrated with multiple cloud systems. It should have the capability to work as a SaaS product.

At first, you need to know the capabilities of Alteryx. It's a good idea to attend a lot of webinars or do a project. That would be really helpful to understand how powerful Alteryx is. Alteryx is used a lot in financial industries, according to what I have seen. It becomes really taxing to do everything in Excel or spreadsheets. Something that would take an hour or two hours to do it manually can take five to 10 minutes for Alteryx. Therefore, try a small project or understand the intricacies of Alteryx and that will get you started. I'd rate it seven out of ten.
I rate Alteryx seven out of 10. I recommend using the 14-day trial version to learn how it works. You can use some of their in-house data to try real information or run a parallel. The trial version is super helpful for making a decision and understanding the capabilities. That's what kind of sold me.

My advice to others is that the solution has a lot of room for expansion and they should get going on a couple of use cases, even if they are small automation use cases, and then build from there. I specifically look for clients and see if there are any other excuse use cases that we can do with them. Be aware of it, there are several versions, and there is a free trial that they can use. Once they understand how to do everything you're doing in the system, it's very simple to transfer it to Alteryx. I would rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.

Simply strike a balance between democratizing the use of data transformation and analytics and having a vision for how you might want to roll things out. I rate Alteryx nine out of 10. I might be biased because of what I'm achieving with it. I don't think we've reached the extent of our usage. I want to increase the data analytics with it. My advice to prospective Alteryx users is to have a good plan. Run through some tests in scenarios where you think it might provide you with a good solution.
I would recommend trying a few different tools to see which one exactly fits your use case before deciding on Alteryx. I'd rate Alteryx as eight out of ten.
I would rate this solution 9 out of 10. Alteryx is the kind of software that a corporation would want to go with and to deploy on for people who are not really data scientists and that have to use data, design dashboards, have to clean and prepare data and so on. That's an effective way to use Alteryx. To go for a sophisticated data science type of added value, a data scientist would want to work with programming languages and use a lot of the libraries that are available. At some point, they would want to put all this code and integrate this code into the platform so that less sophisticated users can use the analysis done outside operational lines. This is definitely the kind of software that is a time-saver if you want to start working on different data sources or a lot of data sources, and you want to work with the data, angle the data, cross-link and so on. It's very good and very easy to use. It's visual, so it's easier to understand what you are doing. When it comes to putting some intelligence into it, it's enough for most people. There is enough that is loaded into software that can help you. The Alteryx interface may be easier to understand than KNIME. You are able to do some nice things with it in just a week.
I don't make use of Alteryx myself, although my area, of which I am a manager, does. I am a customer of Alteryx. There are six people making use of the solution in our organization, two from compliance and one a data scientist. My colleage rates Alteryx as a nine out of ten. She says she loves it.

They should go through the learning path for the Alteryx solution for both the designer and the server. It's good to take it slowly. New users should be able to do this within a month or two. The solution is pretty straightforward to learn. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten.

The choice of product really depends on your needs. I would prefer to use NinePlatform for open sources certainly, but if you're after a proprietary solution because you have different needs, then I think Alteryx is a really good solution if you are looking for a scale. I've seen it's a very, very good product and we are working hard to start offering this product to all our customers. They have an option for companies to from medium-size to large-size. We don't use all the functionalities due to the restrictions we have inside our network. So far, what we use is enough. We can't extend to use all the functions and all the capabilities the tools have. However, that is because of the unique internal restrictions we have. We use the solution just as a reporting tool and consolidate information from different systems to create analytics, however, I know that Alteryx has far more extended capabilities than we have explored. We use it as a personal user tool. We don't use it as a company strategy to move databases from one side to another side and make consolidations. We use it on a very small scale. I'd recommend the solution to others. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. We've been largely satisfied with the solution.
If a customer already has a data engineering and analytics team, I would lean towards RapidMiner and DataRobot, depending on the specific need of the customer. If they want more AI, I would recommend DataRobot. If they want more analytics and data, I would go with RapidMiner. If they don't have a data engineering and analytics team and they're starting something afresh, or if they have a capacity issue with the analytics team, then I would recommend Alteryx. Alteryx works out pretty okay if they don't have a sufficient number of qualified data and analytics people because it goes with the philosophy of citizen data scientists. I would rate Alteryx a seven out of ten.

We're a corporate user and end-user of the product. While I don't know the version number off the top of my head, I can say with certainty that we are using the latest one. The solution is going to be best for technical users or people that have hands-on experience with data such as data scientists or people that can be creative and deal with multiple different databases and different permutations in the structured query language right across those different databases. It's fairly standard, however, not completely, and so, people in that realm tend to be able to function well, people that are analysts may struggle and have a bit of a learning curve that they have to deal with. I've been doing this throughout the information life cycle - about 35 years plus. Therefore, for me, it's my second nature. Others that haven't been exposed to technology over that timeframe may struggle. I'd rate the solution ten out of ten.

Although I use this product regularly, I used to code for many years and I am not a big fan of tools like Alteryx. I don't think that it's a good product, and the reason is that when the use cases get more complex, the models get exponentially larger and more complex to put together. My advice for anybody who is implementing this product is not to underestimate the need for training, in particular, when your use cases get a little more complex. I would rate this solution a five out of ten.

I would suggest that the decision to purchase the product should be based on a company's level of deployment. If it's for a process for a pharma company, which is a smaller enterprise. then I recommend starting with KNIME. As the data gets bigger, switch to Alteryx. I think they should have a student version just like Tableau does. Not all the tools, but the basic top 10 or 15 tools. The reason I suggest this is because there's a huge need for Alteryx users, but because of its 14-day trial period, a lot of students cannot get a handle on it so a scaled-down light version would be good. I would rate this product an 9 out of 10.

Advice that I would give to people considering Alteryx as a solution depends on the real needs from business to business and in accord with what use cases they have. I think Alteryx definitely takes away the potential problem of having to have a lot of technical expertise. Any business user can use Alteryx to develop their business case and use the program's options much quicker without having the technical knowledge and programming know-how. It really depends on the skills and resources of the individuals in the company. They should use Alteryx if they want users to be able to walk through the process and deploy their own use cases without having a deeper technical knowledge and skills that other products may require. What we have learned from using the product is that it is definitely a great advantage for the business users to not need to have great technical skills and programming knowledge to complete their analysis. The business users can build their own analytical use case, visualize what they want to do more easily and quickly, and revise it without any dependencies on other staff and additional communications. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate this product as a seven-out-of-ten.

Alteryx is very good. You can do literately anything on Alteryx. Alteryx is so advanced. It's just drag and drop. You don't need to know any coding or other technical stuff to use Alteryx. On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is the worst and 10 is the best, I would rate Alteryx a 10. No doubt, a 10.
I have a really good impression of Alteryx at this point in time. So I would suggest to people who are considering this type of solution to go ahead and try it. If you are looking for a self-service data analytics tool, Alteryx is a good solution. It does a good job of end-to-end integration as well as accessing data from multiple sources or email modes. Then you can push data out to Tableau and Power BI or tools like that if you need other capabilities. So, 'go ahead and try it' would be my recommendation. On a scale from one to ten where ten is the best and one it the worst, I would rate Alteryx as easily a solid eight. From my use case and considering the point that I'm not seeing and using everything, I can't give it more or less. But from our use case and what we have in our company, it is pretty good for several purposes.
Download the trial and test it. You will be amazed. It is the complete package for people who work with data. Most important criteria when selecting a vendor: * Provide a good product. * Have good support. * Needs a clear vision of the future with a very solid roadmap.
Alteryx can be used to speed up or automate your business processes and enables geospatial and predictive solutions. I rate Alteryx a seven out of ten.
Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.

I rate the solution a ten out of ten. The solution is good but can be more affordable. On the other hand, it is a great tool because of the community and can integrate various tools, data and types and software.
Overall, I would rate it a seven out of ten.
It has Excel and diagram functionalities. So, not much technical knowledge is required to use it. If you are aware of both or have Tableau and Excel experience, then you are good to go. I would rate it a seven out of ten.
You can always build in machine learning and more sophisticated use cases as you go along. I rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.
We were an Alteryx partner. In terms of Alteryx, we resell the solution to our clients. I do have a team that handles the implementation.
My advice to others is before implementing the Alteryx, they need to be very sure about their use case. Based on the use case, they should plan the implementation. I rate Alteryx seven out of ten.
I rate Alteryx nine out of 10. I have worked on multiple media tools. This one seems to work for most use cases, and it is pretty fast when compared to others. If you're implementing Alteryx, you should get the Alteryx application and take advantage of the self-study materials available in their portal. It'll be easier if you try out this application before you start working on the toor.
Simply strike a balance between democratizing the use of data transformation and analytics and having a vision for how you might want to roll things out. I think it's not the easiest thing to strike that balance, but that's my recommendation. To try to have a plan, but also to make sure you're not putting up too many barriers. I would rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.
For anyone considering Alteryx, I would say go for it. Trust that there is a really good set of not just in-company support, but also a lot nice and very decent resellers and partners that can help you do anything you want. Overall, if you are looking for data management, if you need to improve your ability to blend data and to get insights out of data, Alteryx is the way to go. On a scale of one to ten, I would give Alteryx a nine.
I rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.
We are partners with Alteryx. I'm using version 21, the latest version, which may be either 21.1.4 or 0.3.2. I would advise potential new users to go through the community to learn. They should go through the learning path for the Alteryx solution for both the designer and the server. It's good to take it slowly. New users should be able to do this within a month or two. The solution is pretty straightforward to learn. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten.
I would recommend this solution. I like it. I would rate Alteryx a nine out of ten.
The choice of product really depends on your needs. I would prefer to use NinePlatform for open sources certainly, but if you're after a proprietary solution because you have different needs, then I think Alteryx is a really good solution if you are looking for a scale. It all differs from case to case depending on requirements. It's about the feasibility of the product for your specific use case, so I rate this solution a six out of ten.
I would definitely advise others to give it a fair look. It's a great product. It is not marketed as a solution to all different types of aspects of analytics. I'm not going to downgrade it just because that's not within the scope of what they're marketing the product for. Based on what it has been marketed for, I would rate Alteryx a ten out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.
Any company considering a data processing platform which is light, offers good flexibility, and deals with moderate or low sized data, will find this is a really good spend. If, on the other hand, you're working on big data and a higher volume of data, this may not be the right choice for you. I rate this solution a seven out of 10.
We are Alteryx partners. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. It's a very good product, however, the pricing makes it quite expensive. In comparison, I love Dataiku. I've seen it's a very, very good product and we are working hard to start offering this product to all our customers. They have an option for companies to from medium-size to large-size. However, they don't have options for small customers. That said, you can start from, for example, an investment in $30,000 and up. You can go progressively investing in the product. That's not the case for Alteryx.
We are just customers and end-users. I would advise other companies considering the solution that the training is important. They've been great working with us on free training for this, that, and the other. The company really does provide a lot of those resources. The community is very good. The knowledge base that's out there in the community is great. A company should just tap into that and any free training they can. It takes a little bit of time to get proficient at it, however, the payoff is there. Overall, I would rate it at a seven out of ten.
I would rate Alteryx a nine out of ten.
We're just a customer and end-user. We don't have a business relationship with the company. We have an Alteryx server, and we also use the desktop version or the designer version on our workspaces, which are hosted on the cloud. In general, I would rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We've been mostly happy with it, however, there are areas in which is could improve.
I would recommend the solution 100%. I really think it is a better platform than competitors. I rate Alteryx a nine out of ten.
I would definitely recommend this solution to other interested companies. The real question is: do you really want people doing self-service analytics? On a scale from one to ten, I would give Alteryx a rating of eight.
We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with Alteryx. I haven't updated to the latest version yet. I'm unsure which version of the solution I'm currently using. We are, as an organization, shifting and moving away from the solution. We are now going to utilize a new tool that is being selected. Due to some complexities in Alteryx, we are moving away from it. Overall, I'd rate it seven out of ten. It has a lot going for it, however, we need a solution that's less complex and offers more coding capabilities.
I think Alteryx is a good software to work with. It's user-friendly and more accurate than other products in terms of the predictions and modelling. I would rate this solution an eight out of 10.
Most of our clients in Hong Kong are on-premises because they don't want to share the data on the Cloud. We use several other products because we want a unified platform for our customers. If you have experience with Excel, macros, or VBA then you have a great foundation to use Alteryx. I would rate Alteryx an eight out of ten.
We're simply users of the solution. We don't have a professional relationship with Alteryx. We're currently using the designer license, however, I'm not sure of the exact version I'm currently on right now. I believe it is the latest version. There's a 14-day free trial for those organizations that would like to try the solution before they commit to anything. I would recommend the solution, 100%. It basically has everything we need. While we don't have all the features on offer in our particular license, it does have everything we need, and if our needs change, we can always move up to the next tier. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with the company. Our organization is dealing with large amounts of data, yet we do not have the money to buy a Microsoft product like SQL. Alteryx is a pretty good alternative to handle the ETL part of the workload. We've been largely satisfied with the solution. I would rate the solution eight out of ten overall. We've been happy with the results that have been provided to us so far. If the solution offered a connector as a direct input for MySQL, or better data visualization, I'd rate it higher.
This is a product that I recommend. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
We're Alteryx partners. We handle various deployment models, depending on the client's needs. I've worked with other solutions such as Knime, among other tools for data science and data prep. It's great that this solution is just drag and drop and easy. I'd recommend the solution. I'd rate it 9.5 out of ten.
I would advise that you should ask yourself what you need and want, and do a one-month trial.
Download the trial and test it. You will be amazed. It is the complete package for people who work with data. Most important criteria when selecting a vendor: * Provide a good product. * Have good support. * Needs a clear vision of the future with a very solid roadmap.
