Before beginning, a new user should take time to understand the product. They need to analyze a few options and see which best fits their use case and go with that. There are many on the market to look at, including DynaRisk and DataDog. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.
I recommend this product but am a little concerned for the future given that they are no longer adding new features to the on-prem version. For now, they're supporting the on-prem version and they're releasing security batches, but no new features. It might be worth waiting to see what they decide, it could be that they will move to a cloud-only version. I rate this solution nine out of 10.

I would suggest a company takes the time to do an analysis of use cases, of the situation,of what you really need, and then pick the best fit. It's not something you compare by price or simply by features. It is something you should look into for your specific situation and then make a decision based on the use case, based on the business case, the justification that it gives your organization to invest in that tool. Take your time to do that. The other thing is, when you invest in a very rich tool, make sure that you have the people in place to look after it or get a managed service to do it. It's not something that you install and it's there and you get the most out of it. You have to look after it. I would rate this product a nine out of 10.

We used the on-premises version of the solution. I would rate the solution nine out of ten. Although we've decided against AppDynamics, I would still recommend the product.
Application Analytics refers to the real-time analysis and visualization of automatically collected and correlated data to get insights into IT operations, customer experience and business outcomes. With this next generation of IT operations analytics platform, IT and business users are empowered to quickly answer more meaningful questions than ever before, all in real-time.
I would recommend it to other users. Overall, I would rate it a nine out of ten.
