I would recommend Aruba ClearPass to other organizations for its flexibility and ease of use. Compared to other products, it is easier to manage and integrates well with non-Aruba environments. I'd rate it an eight out of ten overall.
If you follow the user guide guidelines, integration is very easy. We have both a cloud-based client and an on-premises client, and both are used for employees and visitors. Implementing these two approaches, cloud-based and on-premises controller-based works well. I have experience with both methods. I recommend using ClearPass because the customer needed user authentication through LDAP. Although the DataSheet indicates that IAP can integrate with LDAP, having ClearPass simplifies the entire process, including authentication, accounting, and authorization. Whenever I visit customers, and they request solutions, I always advise them to consider ClearPass. Aruba products are generally more cost-effective than other vendors, offering the same performance, facilities, and features. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
The product's policy management capabilities enable precise control over user access and device compliance, significantly bolstering network security by enforcing tailored policies across the organization. I rate it a nine out of ten.

The main reason my company started to look for alternate solutions against Aruba ClearPass was that we faced some issues in terms of the levels of integration that we were able to achieve and the support offered by Aruba. Speaking about my experience with integrating Aruba ClearPass with some multi-vendor environments, I would say that my company had faced issues in terms of the support that we received for Aruba ClearPass, specifically when it came to the area of the configuration changes or any part involving reimplementation. My company did some reference checks related to Aruba's partners, and we saw that we were not getting very positive feedback regarding how the solution is implemented in some organizations. I haven't reached the level where I can comment about how the product's guest access functionality has improved visitor management for our business. When my company was involved in the reimplementation phase of the tool, we wanted to implement guest access, Wi-Fi access, and other advanced functionalities but didn't reach that level. In terms of real-time functionalities, my company was not able to access such features, considering the support-related issues we were facing. My company was not able to make good use of it. If you plan to use the solution, it is important to ensure that you have very good support in terms of both the OEM product and the partner. I rate the tool a seven out of ten.
The last version of the Aruba Central portal only opened connections to Amazon and Azure, making integrating with those platforms easier. Authentication was simple, so the portal and the cloud were well-integrated. I recommend Aruba ClearPass to anyone planning on using it and rate it a seven to eight out of ten.
I recommend those planning to use the solution to use it, but they need to consider that it comes across as a really complex solution. It is important to have some past experience with the solution. I rate the overall product a ten out of ten.
I recommend ClearPass for its integration, stability, and scalability. It is easy to configure and has a user-friendly webpage. I rate it an eight out of ten.

I am using the updated version of the solution. We're resellers. I'd rate the solution six out of ten. There are a lot of different manufacturers that do it a little bit differently and a little bit better.
My company has fifty clients using Aruba ClearPass. Two network engineers handle the deployment and maintenance of Aruba ClearPass. I'd recommend Aruba ClearPass and other Aruba solutions to others. My rating for the solution is ten out of ten.
Before implementing the solution, it is important to understand the system, develop plans, and determine what needs to be integrated. Learn what the solution does and how it will work with your use case. For example, some people choose the work kit without knowing what they need. Some require only the resource manager. Some don't know their gradual requirements for monitoring or management. Some don't understand that the solution is also provides network security. I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
The suitability of this solution is dependent upon the requirements of the business. You need to consider if you want authentications for every network devices like switch, routers, firewalls and wireless. This can depend on the type of projects you are running. We needed the enterprise authentication because we needed the wifi dot certification. Using this, we can access network devices and policies. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten because the Aruba dashboard is quite simple compared to other solutions.
The maintenance could be more user-friendly. If you don't attend a course or if you don't have any technical knowledge of it. If a customer is going to maintain it themselves, they should attend some training. My advice to others is to make sure they have the skill. Once they have the skills and have done the training, it's fairly simple to use the solution. If they try and do it on their own and try to figure things out, they are going to hate the solution because it's not built for them to figure things out on their own. The second piece of advice is to make sure they understand what devices are supported and to what level because with smartphones, not all smartphones are supported and you can end up buying the solution to find that certain versions or certain models of smartphones are not supported. I rate Aruba ClearPass a seven out of ten.
My company is evaluating Aruba ClearPass right now. It isn't live, but it's under evaluation or testing currently. I'm using version 6.10 of Aruba ClearPass. My rating for Aruba ClearPass is nine out of ten. Between ten to twenty people use Aruba ClearPass within the company. There's only a small amount of users of Aruba ClearPass currently because the solution is still under evaluation. Once Aruba ClearPass is live, my impression is that there would be no issues with it in terms of connectivity. My advice to others looking into using Aruba ClearPass is to get good training from the Aruba virtual training center. The training costs extra. The on-demand training costs around $500. I also recommend doing the structured training, but that would cost around $3,000. My company is a customer of Aruba.

We have a VMware server that hosts this solution. It is not on the cloud. I'm not sure which exact version we're using. I don't know about any other tech act applications out there. That said, I know that this is a breeze if you're working with Cisco ISE. I highly recommend a swap over to ClearPass Policy Manager. It is very, very, very, very easy. That's compared to Cisco ISE. I don't know about any other managers out there or if there may be better ones out there. We like Aruba. That's all I can say. I'd rate the solution ten out of ten.
I rate Aruba eight out of 10. I would recommend it. Our company prefers Aruba because it has an attractive design that can decorate a hospitality area.

I rate Aruba ClearPass eight out of 10. It's a great solution with multi-vendor support. That's always useful. My advice is to take advantage of Aruba's identification solution called ClearPass Insight in addition to the network access control.

We've partnered with HPE and Aruba. I work at a service company. I go and install solutions for customers. I just handle the install for my customers. I don't use the software myself every day or on a regular basis. My role is one of a project technician and director. I'm an architect. Our organization handles all sizes of companies from small to large enterprises. If there's a company out there considering the solution, I'd just caution them to be ready. There is a lot of configuration to do on all of the infrastructure. Other than that, it's an excellent solution. It's great for securing a local network. Security, at the end of the day, shouldn't have a cost. It's imperative to protect your business and to not worry so much about price tags, because it's even more expensive when you are unprotected and things go wrong. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
This is a solution that I would strongly recommend. We are very happy with the support and the product overall. Although it meets our satisfaction and requirements 100%, you can never give a 100% mark. There is a little bit of room for improvement in all things. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Overall, Aruba ClearPass is a very good product, we feel very confident using it, and it is a product that I would recommend. That said, it is not perfect. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
