Cisco Meeting Server saves us time and expenses because we had to go to different cities to have meetings earlier. The main thing which we were concerned about was expenses. So, the operating expense (OpEx) was good because we didn't have to incur as much cost as we did earlier. For our previous server, we had to pay more for technical support. We also had to pay for the space acquired by those servers. There was only one server for Cisco Meeting Server. We don't need a device for the Cisco Jabber integration with CMS; we can do it on a browser. I don't need a physical device to connect to you. I'll have a link, which I can open on a browser and connect with you. The security parameters for the Cisco Meeting Server are the same as the Cisco TelePresence Server. The encryption algorithm used for Cisco Meeting Server is the same as in Cisco TelePresence Server. The technical support we buy from Cisco helps us maintain the solution. Overall, I rate Cisco Meeting Server ten out of ten.
I've worked with Cisco CallManager and Cisco Meeting Server. My company deployed Cisco Meeting Server 1000 version 3.4 for the client. The client currently has thirty-five users for Cisco Meeting Server. To deploy and maintain the Cisco Meeting Server, my company has three staff that take care of the server and the local network. I'd recommend the solution to any customer with video conferencing requirements. My rating for Cisco Meeting Server is nine out of ten.
