Cisco Prime's reporting and analytics capabilities have not significantly impacted our network decision-making, and we have not utilized them extensively. We're exploring more automated and efficient reporting and analytics solutions that provide faster access to relevant insights. Using the automation and configuration tools has provided us with several benefits. Specifically, we can schedule mass configuration changes efficiently. For instance, when implementing configuration changes across multiple campuses, we create templates and schedule them to run at convenient times. I recommend the platform to others depending on the scale of the operation. It's useful when managing teams that fluctuate in size. Starting with an entry-level option could be beneficial to gauge its suitability, and then considering Cisco's DNA for the channel center, which offers various tiers and licensing options, could provide more tailored solutions. I rate it a seven out of ten.

Cisco Prime is a great solution for Cisco environments. I don't think other software is the same leader because other software doesn't support Cisco hardware like Cisco software does. It's very familiar. For the Cisco environment, I would rate Cisco Prime a ten out of ten.
I recommend the product for medium to large enterprises. I would recommend SolarWinds over Cisco Prime. SolarWinds is user-friendly, has a pretty good UI, and allows us to customize the report. Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten.

I would recommend Cisco Prime to others who are interested in using it. I would rate Cisco Prime a seven out of ten. I would say that my rating of seven out of ten for Cisco Prime is based on my personal experience with the product and its usage in the current organization. However, the rating may vary depending on how the technology evolves and the upcoming projects. It is possible that as we move towards newer projects, the rating may change. Ultimately, the rating is based on individual experiences and perspectives.

I've used PRTG and then Cisco Prime. I have to check the version of Cisco Prime that I'm currently using, but I'm sure it isn't the latest version. A third party deals with Cisco Prime, which can sometimes be troublesome, though it's pretty seamless at other times. Up to thirty people use the solution within the company. I'd tell people looking into Cisco Prime that the decision should be based on what you need the solution for. What are you looking to monitor? It would be best if you also looked into licenses supporting your use case. This is the best way to go about it. My rating for Cisco Prime is eight out of ten.

The solution is only good for configuration management and has issues with real time monitoring. Our company had the expectation that we could use the solution for both configuration management and real time monitoring, but unfortunately we were not able to replace our other monitoring tool. We still recommend that our customers use the solution for configuration management, especially if they have a lot of Cisco devices.
I rate this solution an eight out of ten. The solution is good but can be improved by including features for non-Cisco vendors. I recommend this tool to customers looking for a good tool that can provide an advanced level of monitoring for people with 90% infrastructure or inventory from Cisco.
My advice to others is they need to make sure during their planning that they have distributed the exact number of access points in the right location. There should be someone dedicated to it because it needs a follow-up and daily monitoring. I rate Cisco Prime a seven out of ten.

On a scale of one to 10, I would rate the product as nine. We have two users using the solution. The product is simple to maintain. By following the Cisco alarms, you can fix problems easily. The solution is very easy to use, and I absolutely advise using it, as long as your budget has no limits.
We resell both the cloud and on-premises versions. I would recommend the solution. We tend to recommend it to clients. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. There are fewer monitoring solutions around, however, for now, my clients are using Cisco Prime just to monitor Cisco products only - not other brands like HP or Palo Alto, or Check Point. I cannot recommend it beyond using it if you are heavily involved in Cisco.

We are a customer and an end-user. We do not have a professional relationship with Cisco. We will not keep using this solution. I'm only keeping Prime Infrastructure at the moment for coexistence purposes as we have not yet created some functionalities elsewhere. I'd rate the solution at a six out of ten, mostly due to some issues we have surrounding its overall complexity that hinders us a bit.

My advice to anybody who is considering this solution is to look carefully at your infrastructure. Our plan is to take Cisco Prime out because we do not have a fully-Cisco infrastructure and it is not compatible with all of the devices. It is very good for Cisco products and if your entire infrastructure is Cisco, or you want to monitor a specific section that is entirely Cisco, then it will work well. However, if you have a mix of devices from different vendors and you want to centralize then this is not the right solution. Also, I would not recommend using two different solutions for the same purpose. Find one that works with everything, like SolarWinds or Netskope. Ultimately, I think that Cisco Prime will be taken off the market and replaced with Cisco DNA. It has all of the features such as NetFlow, monitoring, and smart analytic systems. It is another Cisco product doing the same job and much better. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
Cisco Prime products deliver next-generation management by supporting an intuitive workflow-oriented user experience and integrated lifecycle operations across Cisco architectures, technologies, and networks.
