Darktrace claims that AI powers threat detection, but it often feels more like a program or algorithm than intuitive or engaging AI. We haven’t observed the advanced AI capabilities expected from their claims. It may use AI in the backend to assess and evaluate risks, possibly through sophisticated algorithms. However, Darktrace lacks those capabilities regarding AI engaging directly with customers or providing intuitive interactions. The AI’s role seems to be more focused on risk evaluation rather than engaging or interacting with users meaningfully. The core product is impressive. Darktrace's appliance performs well, quickly evaluating all nodes and establishing a solid baseline. While our environment had few threats, I've heard that visibility can be challenging for IT and cybersecurity teams in large enterprises. The appliance offers a rapid overview of your network environment. Darktrace’s approach to deploying POC first is a strong point. It provides immediate insight into potential threats and risks, helping to build a compelling business case for its use. The device is reliable, with minimal downtime and performance issues, and is quick to set up. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

Darktrace is a very complex product. It's not like a commodity because we're not talking about licenses but mostly about traffic, which is a complex matter. Darktrace's AI technology could be improved because it requires a huge amount of manual work to work properly. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I am the sole administrator and monitor of Darktrace because we have a small IT team. However, Darktrace monitors our entire organization. In a larger company with many IT departments, multiple people might monitor Darktrace and engage with it. Our finance company has a small IT department. Darktrace adapted to the evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats by leveraging proprietary technology and machine learning algorithms. Their unique approach and cutting-edge solutions have established them as a leading company. It's difficult to gauge the effectiveness of Darktrace because we don't fully understand how it operates; we only see the alerts it generates. If we create an event on the network, Darktrace will alert us so we know it works in those scenarios. If something new and unknown happens on the network, it's unclear whether Darktrace will detect it. We're paying a lot of money, hoping it does, as Darktrace is a proprietary technology. It might work, or it might not detect some threats. We don't have full visibility or a map of its coverage. Darktrace can be expensive, depending on the use case. It's like comparing different types of cars: some people need a two-seater, while others need a ten-seater. Darktrace is more like a seven-seater—very specific and not suitable for everyone. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Darktrace provides real-time alarms for any anomalies in my network, which I utilize for incident response. It has significantly improved our reporting capabilities and response times once we set the parameters for identifying critical threats. The response capability is beneficial because it autonomously responds to identified threats without manual intervention, ensuring that alerts are addressed 24/7. This includes quarantining devices as needed, which adds resilience to our security operations. There have been improvements in incident response times. Before using the response functionality, we experienced a breach last year. Now, reports highlight and address incidents more effectively, reducing response times. Its AI technology supports cybersecurity by learning my environment and accurately responding to threats. It reduces false positives and provides accurate threat detection by understanding the behavior of my network. It is a tool worth trying, but the pricing aspect should be considered. I rate an eight out of ten.

Darktrace has improved our client's organization's threat detection and response capabilities. Darktrace has helped users intercept and stop ransomware attack attempts in the very early stage, within a couple of minutes of its detection Autonomous response is a very good and useful feature that differentiates Darktrace from other solutions. One person can easily maintain the solution. Darktrace easily integrates with our client's IT infrastructure solutions, like Microsoft 365, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto firewalls. Darktrace has impacted our clients' incident response time to be very quick. Darktrace is an autonomous solution. Users have to ensure they present all the traffic to the tool so it can intercept threats and not have hidden spots in their networks. Overall, I rate Darktrace a nine out of ten.

The product is expensive, but it is a quality product. If you look apart from the cost, it's a good product followed by very good support. If you're willing to spend the money, it is worth consideration. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
If any company has enough budget to put another layer between the internet and the on-prem device, they should consider Darktrace. I rate the product a nine and a half out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to potential users. But the cloud solution is challenging to use in Turkey. On a scale from one to ten, I would give Darktrace an eight.
I give the solution an eight out of ten. Our organization chose Darktrace because of its phishing capabilities. Darktrace is the best way to secure a gateway and I recommend the solution to others.
I would rate Darktrace at nine out of ten. It is a growing product that helps with an ever changing threat landscape. Traditional endpoint antivirus solutions will not be able to keep up.
We are not necessarily using the latest version of the solution right now. It's totally different from any other solution a customer may have used. You have visibility, and it will find anything that you miss with other solutions. I would advise new users to start using it as soon as possible. Buy it. It's totally better than other solutions. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
We use the on-premises deployment model. It's a quite clever solution. It has a lot of potential, but I'd advise those considering to hold off implementing the solution until after a newer version is released. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. If they added automation and included it in the price, I'd rate it higher.

Darktrace is a good product and it can be implemented on premises. Someone who wants to take care of the lateral movement and configure it, will love what it offers. I rate this solution a seven out of ten. I would like to see supervised machine running in the future.
I'm an end-user. It's quite a good tool. They've worked hard to be the top security control in terms of AI and machine learning, and their product works well. Cisco would not match up. Maybe Palo Alto Cortex could do what they do. Cisco is not a security house, even though they have the networking knowledge and all of that. Most of their products are only now catching up to cybersecurity. I'd rate Darktrace ten out of ten.

My advice for anybody who is implementing Darktrace is that you definitely need to take your time. Sit down and understand how to use the model breach customization. They use models and if something hits that model, it triggers an alert. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

It's a fantastic product, and the only reason they don't get a 10 is because of their licensing. I believe their network monitoring device licensing module could use some improvement. I would rate Darktrace an eight out of ten.

My advice is to always go for a PoC before implementing Darktrace. That's because Darktrace can get a lot of personally-identified information, which may not be a good thing for some companies. So, before going for this technology, you should do a PoC, and once everything is compliant with the rules and regulations of the company, you can go for it. I would rate it an eight out of 10.
Darktrace is a pretty good company. The only thing that they need to really work on is just being able to get rid of some of those false positives. Once the solution is tuned up, it pretty much just runs. I would advise making sure that you do a really good PoC of the product so that you can be sure that it makes sense in your environment. I would rate it a nine out of 10.

In terms of our organization, we are a massive IT organization or financial services company. We've got a very small ITP, but we've got a lot of data. We are not sure about Darktrace in terms of its capacity to deal with huge data, but it is probably too early for me to give some sort of indication of what is not big. At the moment, they are delivering on the set objective in terms of what I want to achieve as a CIO, and I'm quite happy with some of the deliverables that are coming through at the moment. In terms of what our requirements were and what we expect in terms of what we want them to deliver, they have delivered. Within the next two to three years, I would probably be able to provide a different perspective after we've matured within the Darktrace environment. At the moment, they've delivered the actual scope of work. There is nothing really that they're not delivering on as promised. So, at the moment, I'm quite happy with where we are. I would rate Darktrace a nine out of ten.

We have been using it for a few weeks. As of now, we plan to keep using it. I would recommend this solution for big companies. I would rate Darktrace a seven out of ten.
Over the past years, I have seen some customers say, "No, I have Endpoint protection. I have intrusion prevention. I have a firewall. I don't need anything like that." My advice is that first of all, open your mind to new solutions because this type of solution will catch everything that the rest of the solutions that you have won't catch. That's the first thing. The second thing is that do not limit the work of the people who work with Darktrace by saying that you know your network because we can assure you that you don't know your network and the threats that are inside and outside the network and the size of the network. We always start with Darktrace Enterprise Immune System, which is the first model. The reason for this is that it is easier to adopt the Antigena model at the second stage because the solution by itself needs to learn inside of the network and what is good and what is bad. When we place Antigena, the deployment stages are exactly the same as when you first deploy the Enterprise Immune System in order to let it learn. After the solution starts learning, it will take at least a couple of months or probably three months to deploy Antigena. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to make customers spend more money on a solution in the initial stages and go for a solution that they would not be using initially. This also provides the appropriate sizing of the network. Most of the time, the customer needs to acquire more services from us in order to support all the infrastructure that they have. I would rate Darktrace a ten out of ten. I am a very happy user and a happy seller of Darktrace.
They are currently working on improving their interface by including AI to help simplify things, but it does not work on real-time data. Rather, it works on historical events. This is definitely a product that I can recommend, although I would probably be using it together with a SOC service or somebody else who can manage it properly. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

If someone asked me for advice about the product I would definitely highly recommend it to those who need this type of solution. It is really good. It has given us a view of our company and it has actually caught a couple of people that were doing data exfiltration and stealing data from our company. We caught them doing it in the act in live time, which is just incredible. On the scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would definitely rate this product at the moment as a ten. It is a perfect solution for our needs.
I would suggest to anyone considering this option to identify if this is going to be a monitoring tool to supplement an existing system or if this is going to be another product in your existing security suite of tools. I would rate this product an eight out of 10.
Based on our experience with DarkTrace, I would advise that if they are comparing prices, ROI and everything, I think Darktrace is better than FireEye. On a scale of 1 to 10 I can rate it a 6. I give it a 6 because it's been a year learning everything, and technology, attacks and patents are changing everyday.

We're very pleased with Darktrace so it is a bit difficult to pinpoint areas for improvement. It covers all of our needs and from what I can see, it does the basics very well. There are many advanced features, also. This is a solution that I definitely recommend. It offers a proof of value rather than a proof of concept, where they run the tool in your network, let it learn and then catch any vulnerabilities. Then you will actually see the value of the solution, either potentially blocking any exploitive threats or not, but its a really good thing to go through. To do this, I think that you have to go through an actual partner unless you're in a location where Darktrace has a physical office. In any event, I strongly recommend going through the proof of value to see if you like it. If there is a charge then it is definitely worth it. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

My advice to others is always to keep an open mind and to find out as much as you can about the program to see if it offers what you are looking for. I rate Darktrace eight out of ten.
My advice to people and organizations considering this as a solution is: go buy it. They shouldn't waste their time fussing and looking around at other solutions. It works. I've done administrating for several years, and this is the one solution that works. It complements what you have, whatever that is. It is like a plug-and-play component. There is no solution that does what it does. You even have some excellent systems like Cisco's Stealthwatch — these are just the three packet analysis technologies. Darktrace is actually DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), which in my markets is now called the threat level buttons. It is really an advanced product and everything just works ridiculously well. If I had to rate the product on a scale of one to ten (ten is the best) I'd give it an actual ten. It is the only product I use that I would give a full ten. It's hard to achieve a ten as you have to be better than everything and everyone else. It does deliver on what it says it can do.
My advice to someone considering this solution is to install it, conduct a pilot, and see. You need to see how easy it is to implement and you need to add it to install. You need to see what kinds of results it provides and compare it to your existing tool kit. The product demonstrates its actual capabilities when it's actually working. It's difficult to comprehend what it can actually do but it does give you an added level of visibility. It has good capabilities. I would rate it an eight out of ten. Cross-correlation with the endpoint based activities would be useful, like the ability to look at the deep supervised learning engine of the artificial intelligence unit and being able to take input data from the endpoints in order to apply the rules. It works on supervised learning and rules but I would like to be able to do things on different feeds as well. It has a very good graphical user interface. The ability to get a console on the mobile phone and being able to respond and do basic incident response capabilities remotely is also a good feature.
Darktrace is a leading cybersecurity solution that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide advanced threat detection, response, and risk management capabilities. Many reviewers find Darktrace's AI and machine-learning capabilities to be valuable. They appreciate its ability to detect anomalies and threats that might go unnoticed by traditional security tools. Overall, the general sentiment towards Darktrace from reviewers is positive. Users seem to appreciate...

At the moment, they've delivered the actual scope of work. There is nothing really that they're not delivering on as promised. So, at the moment, I'm quite happy with where we are. I would rate Darktrace a nine out of ten.
Because of all it does, Darktrace is a very good solution, and it doesn't take a lot of time to implement and to get results. You can learn the behavior of the network and take actions, not based in signatures. I think this is very, very good. On a scale of one to ten, I would give Darktrace a nine.
It's a good solution. I would suggest that if it's suitable for your requirements, get it. I would rate this solution a nine out of 10.
I would recommend this solution. You need to have a good plan for its initial installation. It requires a lot of work in the network. I would rate Darktrace an eight out of ten.
We have been using it for a few weeks. As of now, we plan to keep using it. I would recommend this solution for big companies. I would rate Darktrace a seven out of ten.
We are resellers and integrators of Darktrace. I would rate Darktrace a nine out of ten.
On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate Darktrace as an eight-out-of-ten.
I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
