Issues with integration and other features that don't function as expected could occur. We aren't aware of these changes until we encounter problems and submit a ticket. This process is incomplete for configuring upgrades correctly. FortiGate handles high traffic loads and maintains performance, but we need to size it based on our business, Internet bandwidth load, or connectivity requirements when deploying multiple Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. The firewall size should match the bandwidth needs; for example, a small firewall with 300-400 Mbps central bandwidth won't suffice for 48 panels. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
It's easy to use. The interface and other reports are all user-friendly. The software is a bit expensive to renew. The FortiGate product range is diverse and suitable for different types of enterprises. It is more geared towards meeting the needs of larger enterprises. In the financial services industry in Malaysia, it's often paired with Palo Alto. Most of the projects follow a similar pattern. It's all in one box. You can use it for switching, routing, firewall, VPN - everything you need can be integrated into the FortiGate. Essentially, it's only one device for smaller setups. FortiGate has a very good range, from small businesses to even larger ones. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
In terms of reliability and security, FortiGate stands out. WatchGuard excels in additional features, offering the best reporting and various configuration options. While Sophos is also strong in security, I would rate it slightly lower than FortiGate. Overall, I would rate it nine out of ten.
We implement the solution for our clients. We never had to contact technical support. I recommend the solution to others. It is a good product. Overall, I rate the tool a ten out of ten.
I recommend this solution. Fortinet FortiGate SWG is better than the market alternatives. It's easy to install and manage, and I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I rate Fortinet FortiGate SWG an eight out of ten. It has a lower failure rate in terms of configuration. Once it is configured, it keeps running for years. However, they have increased the process by almost 60% to 70%.
The advice I can offer is to compare the entire solution with its competitors. While certain narrow aspects might show some glitches and areas for improvement, when viewed completely, it becomes evident that Fortinet is a great solution. Overall, I would rate the solution as a nine out of ten.
I rate Fortinet FortiGate SWG eight out of 10. I recommend FortiGate SWG as an on-prem edge device or routing solution. It is user-friendly, easy to manage, and protects us from external threats. We have had no issues with filtering or anything else so far.

My advice to others is for them to research the installation mode to see if it will be transparent or not. I rate Fortinet FortiGate SWG a nine out of ten.
I'm a reseller and implementer of Fortinet FortiGate SWG. I'm dealing with various solutions and various vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet, based on customer requirements. I've provided Fortinet FortiGate SWG to a client for the past year. I currently don't have the details on the number of Fortinet FortiGate SWG users in the client's organization, but it's being used daily. In terms of security, Fortinet FortiGate SWG is superior compared to Cisco. In terms of pricing, I would prefer Cisco. I'm rating Fortinet FortiGate SWG six out of ten. If they would change the GUI and improve it, that would make my rating higher, because it's on the GUI where people do all their activities. Making the solution more user-friendly will also increase my rating for it.

I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. I'd advise potential new users that, if they want to use it, they need to plan and design their business case, including what things they want to use and how to publish their application securely. If they can plan ahead, then they will be successful during deployment.

I rate FortiGate SWG nine out of 10. It's a good solution and not too expensive. FortiGate is an all-in-one solution, unlike Cisco's, where you have to pay extra for web filtering. The traffic control is included, so it's a good solution for a medium-sized company.
