The platform allows us to easily integrate with service vendors, such as delivery services and payment systems. It enables us to develop our front-end solutions using Magento as the commerce engine. It is a good product, but finding experienced developers in our country can take time, making it challenging and costly to maintain. I rate it an eight out of ten.
The customization capabilities of Adobe Commerce are great. You can customize it however you like. Live Search is a service from Adobe Commerce that I found to be the most useful, along with some other third-party extensions and other recommended tools by Adobe. The lightweight developments by frontend teams in Adobe Commerce are also useful. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I feel that it is a highly adaptive solution. Users can customize the product, and it can be made available for free. It is not a very expensive tool, but it offers premium services and is robust. The product offers a lot more than what users need. The product offers stability. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.
Adobe Commerce has a large community. Additionally, there are numerous potential developers worldwide because Adobe Commerce offers certification for them. If you purchase a license, other people can support you a lot. We have tier partners everywhere in the world. Even in Vietnam, we have a few partners already. We do the projects and handle warranties. We can connect them with some complexity and handling if there are any issues with the core platforms. We do a lot of customizations. We need to help the client with the warranty on any other customizations. It's not only mechanical, but it's entirely under the Commerce. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Our organization chose Adobe Commerce because of competency, as we have certified people who have implemented the product across industries and clients. Other contemporary products like Salesforce and SAP are more expensive than Adobe Commerce. We chose Adobe Commerce because most of our clients are mid-sized companies or startups looking for a viable option. I would recommend Adobe Commerce to users just starting up with e-commerce and trying to experiment. SAP and Salesforce are implementing accelerators, but we are still finding ways to get that through Adobe Commerce. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
To those planning to use the solution, I would say that the selection of the system integrator is critical because you need to, you know, build your solution in detail and very well done to really get the maximum from the platform. So the system integrator selection is a key process. Also, the business requirements should be very, very detailed. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.

To start with, Magento is a good solution for those planning to use it. However, examining the business case, requirements, and other relevant factors is essential. Nowadays, it's becoming increasingly crucial to integrate with complex environments, and numerous parameters can impact the decision-making process. It's a good solution since I can do everything with it. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

I would rate the solution a seven out of ten. Magento is a powerful platform with many options for customization. It is a competitive platform compared to other similar products. Before making a decision with Magento, you need to investigate other platforms. You need to choose a platform depending on your needs and industry type.
Magento is painful to manage. The issue we generally face is that Magento is very resource intensive. So unless you have the right resource in the organization, it becomes very difficult to manage Magento's platform. We have felt that, compared to the other products like Salesforce or SP Commerce Cloud – which are maybe a little more rigid than Magento because of obviously being a product versus an open source addition from Magento – things become a little more challenging in the other sides, but then they come with a lot of interesting features. So integrations with most of the so-called third-party integrations come in. Things become easier with other platforms, much more than Magento in some cases because of the pre-built integrations. While in Magento, you need to build everything digitally from scratch for most of the use cases which we are driving. So for example, only channel journeys, which you want to drive very, very seamlessly across multiple touchpoints for the customers, don't come easily with Magento while they come very seamlessly with the likes of Salesforce or the hybrids from SAP. That is why we have been debating what the right approach for us is. On the plus side, when you build everything from scratch in Magento, you can do magic with it. But it can become too tedious. On the other hand, we have less flexibility but much quicker rollouts for mobile apps and websites on the other platforms. Overall, I would rate this solution a six, on a scale from one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best. The reason for this rating is just the overall experience with delays and launches of development cycles, apps, and maintenance costs, and it not being easily integrated. All of these things bring the rating down.

I would recommend this solution, but if you are not technically strong, I would suggest Shopify. I would rate Magento a six out of ten. It is a decent choice.
They should have a ready-made plan or know if they want to integrate their shop or they want to use this solution, and they should have a proper plan before going ahead. That is because this is a slightly complex e-commerce system, so you have to be ready with all the requirements in very great detail, much more than just going randomly with notes. Everything should be well documented in the plan before the execution. If that's done, then I think Magento will help in a greater way to solve your problem. Magento offers a certification program. I would say developers should learn the right way and they should get the certification. Those certifications help us to be a credible source so that merchants can approach us and you can get the work right away. The lessons I have learned are that overall it is a good e-commerce framework and it helps to understand certain programming concepts in depth. Because e-commerce is a slightly complex framework, before giving any estimates or before determining anything, there is always a physical checkup needed to be done on the server or whatever shop the person is trying to set up. On the personal side, it has helped me to evolve as a programmer because the program metric concepts are all getting used here. So it's a great framework for all the developers who want to work on proper programming and want to do things the right way. For them, it's kind of a knowledge bank. It has been helpful in learning other e-commerce frameworks more efficiently once I had a full knowledge of this framework. On a scale of one to 10, where 10 is best, I would rate Magento as an eight. It has already achieved what needs to be done, but I feel that to get a nine, they have to do certain things right, and I hope they will be able to achieve it within six to eight months. It is a good product to have for businesses who want to set up online businesses. That's the main unique selling proposition of this product.
