Odoo requires a lot of training time for beginners or for people using the product for the first time. It has a good system for Leave Management e.g. vacation, sick leave, etc. Apart from that, things seem complicated as the interface is intimidating. I would suggest that a free trial be requested before purchasing. This way, you will be able to determine whether the solution is the right fit for your business.Â
I recommend Odoo to others seeking an affordable ERP with solid, flexible, user-friendly, and growing features. It is best to implement it step by step to avoid resistance to change. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten. I would recommend it to other users. The price is expensive, and also the time for you to learn to use the tools.
Python is the programming language used in Odoo. Our support team needs at least some understanding of Python, as they may need to perform intricate tasks within the Odoo system. Fortunately, our team has a skilled developer who can handle these tasks. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. I would recommend Odoo to others. As Odoo is written in Python, you'll need a Python developer or someone proficient in Python. This is important for making changes to the system and integrating it with external systems via the API.
I would keep my rating at eight. The deployment has been smooth, with minimal changes required. However, I may have a more comprehensive assessment after Monday when the Odoo team is scheduled to explain various aspects, considering the numerous modules we have installed.

My advice for those considering Odoo is that it is an excellent choice for small and medium businesses as it provides comprehensive business management capabilities, easy usability, and robust reporting. However, larger enterprises with more complex needs and a higher budget might want to explore other solutions from providers like Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics, depending on their specific requirements. The choice should align with the organization's size and needs. Overall, I would rate it as a five out of ten.

Odoo's deployment type depends on the country and the cloud literacy in that area. In Southeast Asia, cloud literacy is low. Some firmly believe that on-premise is the best solution, and others use the cloud because they don't want to handle it. Overall, I rate Odoo a seven out of ten.

My advice is to get an implementation consultant instead of trying to figure it out on your own. While Odoo may appear user-friendly and plug-and-play, it's actually quite complex. Starting with financial accounting is essential. Although Odoo offers modules for CRM, manufacturing, and inventory management that can be integrated with other systems, it's crucial to prioritize financial accounting as the foundation. Following a specific workflow, I recommend focusing on manufacturing and inventory management next and finally incorporating the CRM piece. This workflow ensures an effective implementation. Without accounting as the base, your implementation is likely to fail. To maximize the benefits of Odoo, aim to establish a comprehensive order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflow. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
We are happy with the solution. I would rate it an eight out of ten. There are still some things like data room privacy, access, and hierarchy that are taking time.
While implementing any ERP, not just Odoo, you have to know your processes very well. You need to know your processes before you start to implement any ERP. You need to know what you are going to set up. If you don't know what you need, you are going to have problems. Overall, I'd rate Odoo an eight out of ten.
I recommend Odoo for small or medium companies. I rate it as an eight out of ten for small or medium companies, but I would drop it to a four or five for big companies.

I rate Odoo seven out of 10. Compared to Salesforce, it's maybe a four or five, but it's okay for our purposes. If you plan to implement Odoo, you should take the time to learn the features. For example, we needed more time to set up the reporting module.
Odoo is a suite of open source business apps that cover all your company needs: CRM, eCommerce, accounting, inventory, point of sale, project management, etc. Odoo's unique value proposition is to be at the same time very easy to use and fully integrated.
