The platform's key features that impact network performance are multiple SSIDs, local switching, and mesh functionality. However, mesh is not recommended for high-traffic environments. Its benefits include efficient zone deployment and access point distribution, simplifying network management. I recommend it to others and rate it a nine out of ten.

I have handled four RMAs where something was faulty, which added about twenty bucks. I have had clients who insisted that there was no need to change the equipment I installed five years ago because it is still working. This demonstrates the reliability of Ruckus Wireless WAN. Ruckus offers a free controller version, which sets it apart. The price point is low. For example, if you compare a Wi-Fi 6 access point to Aruba's equivalent, the price would be lower. The most important lesson is conducting a proper WAN site survey and correctly designing the network. When these steps are done correctly, the chances of having issues are minimal. If any issues do arise, they are usually minor teething problems. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
I would recommend users to better understand their market and customer sentiments. It's a competitive market with other companies like Acronis offering products with advanced technology, such as six and sixty-five-band capabilities. Ruckus should focus on product development by aligning with market needs. Currently, Ruckus seems to lack a full understanding of the market, and their product development reflects this. On a scale from one to ten, if I were to rate Ruckus, I would give it a six out of ten.

Ruckus Wireless WAN has every feature that my company's clients need. Lately, Ruckus Wireless WAN has made itself available on the cloud while also offering Ruckus One to cover everything related to the expectations of the solution's users. My company will only have to look into the solution if any of our customers come up with any new requirements related to Ruckus Wireless WAN. I would tell those who plan to use the solution that it is a good product that is easy to maintain while also offering reliability. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.
I recommend the solution for people who need something simple, fast, and stable. It is a very simple and straightforward solution. It can help them have a stable wireless network consultant without much IT knowledge. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I don't have a good experience. Moreover, I have used it less, around ten to twelve times only. But I will prefer Cisco or Cambium over Ruckus. Overall, I would rate Ruckus Wireless WAN a six out of ten.
We are Ruckus partners. I'm not sure which version of the solution I'm using. I would rate the solution nine out of ten. We are mostly happy with its capabilities.

My company is currently using Ruckus Wireless WAN. I'm responsible for several countries, with the leading country focused on Ruckus Wireless WAN. In contrast, a decision has yet to be made in other countries, so other countries use different equipment. For some countries, my company is still deciding which vendors to work with, in this case, WiFi access points. The management console for the WiFi access points is on-premise, and Ruckus Wireless WAN is deployed on-premises. As my company has ninety facilities, its users of Ruckus Wireless WAN reach approximately three thousand to four thousand. I would rate Ruckus Wireless WAN as eight out of ten because the functionality is excellent. The stability is great. You also get high reliability from the product. I can't rate it a ten, though, because of its price and you need to pay continuously. I recommend the product to others for specific use cases. A disadvantage is that Ruckus Wireless WAN isn't always available. You can reserve it, but you can't buy it instantly, particularly in higher volumes. For a new nursing home, my company needs to buy forty to sixty at once, but that can't be done. My company has no partnership with Ruckus.

As a service provider, we have deployed many Ruckus solutions here in our country. We mainly use its newer versions, which are WiFi six supported R550 and R650. These are the fastest-selling products. We normally sell R550 and R650 to our customers. I'd recommend the solution to others. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
In summary, this is a good product and I recommend the Ruckus outdoor devices. They have good support for this line of access points. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
If a potential new customer wants scalability, reliability, or efficiency, this one may be a better choice. I’d rate the solution eight out of ten. There could be some improvements made in the future. However, I am mostly happy with the product. We’re end-users of the product.

My company implements all technologies of Ruckus Networks, including Ruckus methods, for example, the wired sites as well. I have all the certificates from Ruckus Networks, and I have serious experience in all the software versions of Ruckus Wireless WAN, with all the product scopes. I can't tell you exactly how many people use Ruckus Wireless WAN in my company, though I can say that one of my customers has almost a million users. I also have a customer who designed the network for around one hundred thousand concurrent users, but generally, I know that the number of users of Ruckus Wireless WAN could be extreme sometimes. My company designs networks so the users could reach an unbelievable count. My advice to someone looking into using Ruckus Wireless WAN is that overall, it's trustworthy, and it's under a huge group: CommScope. The company stands behind its products which is important if you experience any issue with the solution. This is an important reason I prefer Ruckus Wireless WAN because I remember when I was a junior engineer fifteen years ago and I worked in a big company, my manager told me to purchase a product based on the support and the support for Ruckus Wireless WAN is so far, so good. I prefer to rate Ruckus Wireless WAN a ten, easily. As I tell my customers, overall, it has a very good hardware design, a very nice controller design, and it's a very flexible management solution. Ruckus Wireless WAN also provides good end-to-end support, so I would rate it a ten out of ten, though in my mind, I shouldn't give it a ten because there's still a lot of room for improvement in the solution, though every month, the vendor announces new features and the solution has huge customer ISPs around the world. My company is a partner of Ruckus Wireless WAN.

I'm not an engineer, but I do manage the Ruckus Wireless WAN deployment project and the network, and I've used it myself. My company is still using the product. At the moment, some of the customers are already on the new version of Ruckus Wireless WAN. Some customers are upgraded and are on the old version because the nice thing about that product is that you can use it for ten years, but the upgrade paths at a point stop for an old device, so you'll see you can only upgrade it to a certain point. My company maintains that until the customer embarks on a network refresh where you rip and replace your old kit with the new kit, so my company works on various versions of Ruckus Wireless WAN. It all depends on the model number. Currently, in the region, my company has fourteen thousand Ruckus access points under management, and then for SmartZones or Virtual SmartZones or controllers, there are approximately eighteen wireless LAN Ruckus controllers under management. In terms of how Ruckus Wireless WAN is deployed, for some customers, it's on the public cloud, while for some, it's on-premises. Some have hybrid cloud setups. It all depends on what the customer requires. Some customers want full control over everything, while others share a Virtual SmartZone with other customers, just under different zones. Everybody in my company uses Ruckus Wireless WAN, and from a customer perspective, eighteen big customers use it. Customers are in the food deployment, hospitality, hospitals, and schools industries. Schools use the product a lot. Private schools in South Africa use Ruckus Wireless WAN a lot because these days, COVID has forced education to go online, so my company had a massive rollout on those access points. In terms of why someone would not use Ruckus Wireless WAN, wireless LAN is an expensive exercise, so on the day that you submit your tender, it would still depend on what the customer looks for. The customer might look for a cheaper solution. It would depend on what solution the customer chooses, but a big company usually chooses between Juniper Mist, Aruba, and Ruckus Networks. It could also be because the company has invested so much in Cisco that it just doesn't make financial sense to go with another solution or because the company uses Cisco Meraki across all offices that it could be an international decision. You have those companies that have invested so much in technology and stick to that technology, even though it's not necessarily the best or the cheapest. It will just be too expensive to go to another solution. I would give Ruckus Wireless WAN a high rating simply because of the ease of setup, deployment, and management. It's a simple solution. Commercially, you can compare the product to other enterprise networks very well. I would give Ruckus Wireless WAN a rating of eight out of ten. There's always room for improvement, so I can't give it a perfect rating. My company is a Ruckus partner.

We have not yet tested the integration with other devices such as cameras and IoT, but we are looking forward to seeing how Ruckus works with these types of devices. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
We're Ruckus reseller and implementors. This solution is very high-quality. I'd advise other organizations to look for the best solutions for their situation. However, I know how difficult this is to sell. It's difficult to sell quality when organizations just want to see the price tag. This is especially true in the government and public sector, that are always constrained by budgets. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. It's a very good product. It's a high-end product and it plays in the right league. We do have customers who are willing to spend money, but it's very difficult to find these jobs nowadays.
My advice for anybody who is considering this solution is to get a good system integrator. Specifically, the people who design the wireless network. You want to have a good design professional who will optimize the cost and give you the best office solution. Overall, this is a good product that is reasonably priced. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
We're a reseller for small and medium-sized companies. We use the public cloud deployment model. I'd recommend the solution for those who need wireless capabilities. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

In the next release, I would like to see a better and easier firewall for proper scanning of our network analyzer. At this stage, it is analyzing my complete traffic on the protocol level and then I have to analyze and spend a lot of time to understand my existing traffic flow. So it is very time-consuming. On a scale from one to 10, I rate it a 10 out of 10. This solution is a complete product and the best product out there.

This technology is really good. This is a solution that I recommend, but there are a lot of features that they have to get into the solution. However, the first and main topic is the radio and efficiency in the spectrum. If the customer wants additional features or the budget is a concern then we will recommend another solution. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I really like this solution and it is recognized here in Riyadh Airport, most of the WiFi is with Ruckus, not with Cisco or any other solution. One of the largest Airports in Saudi Arabia is using the Ruckus Wireless WiFi as an access point. It means it's a genuine, reliable solution. In Saudi Arabia we have a lot of outdoor WiFi and it's recognized through Ruckus, Cisco and sometimes Linksys. Unfortunately, at work, they are using Linksys. I am an IT engineer and I have used Ruckus as a WiFi access point for all of the hotels. It can be connected directly to the wireless access controller and making this a firewall for the DMZ and the client just enters the WiFi with a password. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
I will always ask customers first if they have a specific vendor in mind and if they say no, then I always refer them to the Ruckus solution because of the technical aspects. I am not involved in sales or the pricing but it's expensive. It has very good speed, for the current user, the quantity is more. Ruckus is the first vendor who has declared access by live access points. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
Ruckus Wireless’s WAN (Wide Area Network) suite of switches and solutions provides companies and organizations with a wide variety of products that enable them to deploy and manage the kinds of WANs that best meet their needs.
