Trend Vision One XDR is an excellent security product that deserves a ten out of ten rating. It's surprising that more companies haven't adopted XDR, given its advantages over traditional SIEM solutions. XDR automates tasks like configuration, signature creation, and rule implementation, significantly reducing the manual workload required with SIEM. While I expect a shift towards XDR, many companies still rely on SIEM, which seems inefficient in comparison.

I would rate Trend Vision One seven out of ten. Trend Vision One is deployed across multiple departments in our organization. Trend Vision One requires maintenance.
If you do not have any compliance regulations preventing you from using a single vendor, I recommend adopting Trend Micro's cybersecurity platform for full security coverage and reduced management time. The Risk Index feature helps with the attack surface and risk management. It detects vulnerabilities in your environment and calculates the risk in your environment, but I have not yet used this feature. When you deploy such a solution in your environment, there is always a huge amount of false positives. The false positive rate depends on how your security engineer has done the configuration. After some time, the false positive rate reduces. The reduction in the false positive rate depends on your infrastructure. If you have a huge infrastructure, it would take some time. It also depends on your security resources who work on this solution. If you have only one person, it can take about six months, but if you have a team of five security people, it would take about a month. I would rate Trend Vision One a nine out of ten.

I would rate Trend Vision One nine out of ten. The Trend Vision team handles all maintenance on the SaaS backend. Internally, we only need to update the VDI environment occasionally because it's a non-persistent VDI, meaning it's locked down and reverts to its previous state upon reboot. We periodically open the gold images to perform maintenance, update signatures, and force program upgrades, but this is only a monthly task. So, we spend minimal time managing the solution. Before implementing Trend Vision One, ensure you gather comprehensive documentation. Adhering to the guidelines will streamline setup, and any queries can be resolved using the efficient AI companion. Users can pose questions or access documentation directly from the Trend website. Initially, focus on familiarizing yourself with the dashboard, risk indexing, and the executive dashboard. Explore the product, ask questions, and continue experimenting and seeking assistance once deployed. The process is straightforward once you've had the opportunity to explore the system thoroughly. The primary challenge is becoming comfortable with the interface and navigating its features effectively.
The evolution has been great. When I started using Trend Micro Vision One, the product feature was what they used to call business worry-free. It has evolved from an EDR to a fully-fledged XDR. You can see that the R&D is putting in work, and there is evolution. In terms of product coverage, they do not look at only endpoint protection. Right now, we have bespoke server protection. We have cloud asset protection and email security. You can see the growth of Trend Micro when it comes to its cybersecurity offering. Based on my experience, I would recommend this solution. The ease of use, elimination of overhead, and return on investment are the reasons why you should have this solution. I would rate Trend Vision One a ten out of ten.

I would rate Trend Vision One eight out of ten. In our organization, the IT department has a collective decision-making process for product procurement. During the proof of concept calls, a group of 30 IT professionals evaluate vendor presentations, like, Microsoft partners showcasing Windows Defender. They consider features, budget fit, and individual preferences before voting on the best option. Leadership then finalizes the purchase. While I, the senior security team member, have no direct influence on product selection like Trend Vision One, I significantly impact its functionality. I work directly with Trend Micro, providing daily suggestions for product improvement within the platform. Upon taking control of Trend Vision One, I identified several areas for improvement, including integrating custom data feeds like taxi data, deploying agents in different ways, and collecting telemetry data specific to our environment e.g., Office 365 data. Since Trend Vision One doesn't natively collect everything, and tailoring it to our needs involved significant effort e.g., setting up DLP rules for email and collaboration, I'm unsure about its initial impact without customization. While a patch exists for the vulnerability through Tipping Point, we don't have it, our existing intrusion prevention/detection rules within our server and workload protection system offer some mitigation. A specific module in this system is being configured to address the CVE and potentially protect our assets even if a patch isn't applied. Trend Vision One is a great cybersecurity platform that requires upfront effort to set up but offers comprehensive protection for your organization. While it has room for improvement, the developers are actively adding new features like cloud scanning and AI-powered detections, demonstrating their commitment to innovation. This ongoing development ensures Trend Vision One stays relevant and effective in the ever-evolving security landscape.

Once you have done that, you will realize the value of it, and once you realize the value of the tool, there is no going back. You would have to purchase it. I would rate Trend Vision One an eight out of ten. They have room for improvement, but that is not at all unusual. It is still very good, and we would not want to get rid of it any time soon.

To those who are evaluating this solution, I would advise doing a PoC and understanding their workflow and traffic. They should have the right expectations going into the product. It is a system with which you need to invest in other components as well, but once you get it up and running and it's working and tuned, you will start seeing the value of it. They are now acting as a support partner for us. We can rely on them and work with them because we invested a fair amount of money with them. The product has proven to be very valuable for our defense arsenal. I personally follow them. It is not just me. It is all over the Internet that Trend Micro's zero-day initiative still picks up around 60% of vulnerabilities. It is more than any vendor out there. They have got a very good team. I would rate Trend Vision One a nine out of ten. Reporting could use a bit of work, but it is improving. Just the other day, I heard that they are starting to provide automated threat hunt queries and an AI bot on Vision One. These features are still in preview, but it is changing rapidly. They also have something called forensic, so you can create forensic cases and log calls directly from the Vision One portal. There are some very good changes that they have made. It is evolving and dynamic.

Trend Vision One is very useful. It has many functionalities and integrations. Its integration with other products is growing. In the future, it will probably be the biggest console in the world. Trend Micro is making some changes to the console. At the moment, it is a little bit confusing for our use case because we are using three or four consoles from Trend Micro. We intend to migrate to just one, which is the Vision One console, but at the moment, we are using the Apex One console for the workstations and the Cloud One console for the servers. I do not know if the integration is complicated for Trend Micro, but at this moment, it is not so easy for me to manage all devices. I would rate Trend Vision One an eight out of ten.

One person is required for the maintenance. I recommend Trend Vision One, especially for older servers that are not supported by some other endpoint solutions.
I'm a partner. We're using the latest version of the solution. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. For enterprise customers, I wouldn't recommend the solution. However, it's a good solution for small or medium customers. New users need to ensure they have the correct sizing and licensing. After implementing XDR, have a good understanding of how the workbenches work to create a decent playbook. Use the service gateway to your benefit. Connect your active directories, make connections, and use integrations with your firewalls. These third-party integrations are really good, and they help you a lot with your environment.

I would rate Trend Micro XDR ten out of ten. We tried to use the risk index feature, but I didn't have the resources to focus on it at the time. I was more focused on the actual findings that were happening. I have since hired someone who will focus on the risk index, as the primary reason I hired them is to focus on the risk element coming from Vision One, as well as from other third-party intelligence platforms that we work with or have contracts with. Now that I have someone here, we will be focusing on the risk index. No maintenance is required.

I would rate Trend Micro XDR ten out of ten. The solution works extremely well for us. In a healthcare environment, the types of data and the sheer size of the attack surface are somewhat extraordinary. Having the enhanced capabilities of the Trend Micro toolset has been very important to us, and I strongly recommend it. We have 11,000 users, five acute care hospitals, and around 80 clinics. Two people are required to maintain Trend Micro XDR for the investigation of threats and incidents. When threat intelligence comes in from Trend Micro or we receive an alert, we validate or respond to it. A lot of this process has been automated, which has helped tremendously. I strongly recommend Trend Micro XDR and advise doing a proof of concept against any current tool on the market, as it works extremely well and a POC can clearly demonstrate this in a short period of time.

I'd rate the product eight out of ten. It is a really good product and easy to deploy. They allow you to have more visibility on your environment, especially if you have any kind of XDR solution. It will increase the visibility of what's happening in the environment. Also, from the perspective of doing maintenance updates or patches, the cloud is the way to go. The product management team does a really good job of increasing the features, and they are listening really closely to what the customer needs via feedback.
I give Trend Micro XDR a nine out of ten. We were initially using Trend Micro on-premises and then expanded our usage by implementing XDR. We were satisfied with the solution and its features, so we made the decision to stick with Trend Micro. A small team is required for maintenance, which will not impose a significant burden on our IT team. Our entire organization uses the solution. I suggest trying out the trial of Trend Micro XDR to assess its suitability for their environment. It can be a good solution for small or medium-sized organizations, but keep in mind that everyone has their own specific requirements.
If you are considering Trend Micro XDR, my advice would be to take into account your endpoints, servers, scanners, workloads, and mobile devices. Include every device you would like to monitor and protect. Overall, I would rate Trend Micro XDR at nine out of ten.

I'm the implementer. I'm working with the operation, and I'm working as an implementation engineer here. I'm working with the latest version of the solution. If a customer is planning on using the cloud solution, they should definitely purchase this product. That said, if it is on their own device, I would not recommend this product. Also, if you're integrating with anything on-premises, you cannot completely utilize it and will not receive the ROI for this investment. If you are on-premises, it's better to go for EDR, not XDR. I'd rate the product nine out of ten.

I was an end-user. I'm not sure which version we were using it. The solution was on the cloud. We were discussing having it on-prem, however, the cloud made much more sense for such a small organization rather than utilizing the resources on-site. I'd rate the solution six out of ten.
My company is working with Trend Micro XDR, an advanced version of the EDR solution. There are around six hundred users of this solution, but only one person required for its maintenance. Normally, my company deploys this agent. There's another tool from where my company pushes this agent to the end user, pulls to the end user system, then scans from this console, then my company gets all the reports. I would rate Trend Micro XDR seven out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to customers in the financial sector. I usually do not recommend this product to any company with about 100 to 300 users because it's not cost-effective. XDR is quite expensive, so we typically sell XDR to the financial sector, especially banking. They are the prime candidates for this kind of solution because of their extensive network. On a scale from one to ten, I would give Trend Micro XDR a nine.

I would give Trent Micro XDR a 5 out of 10. I would not recommend it, but in a situation where somebody has already invested in antivirus from Trend Micro, then it would be okay to go for Trend Micro XDR just to ensure that you are extending the platform. But if somebody is evaluating everything from scratch and looking out for something fresh, then I would not recommend Trend Micro as a go-to-product.
It is basically Trend Micro's response to other products in the market such as SentinelOne and so on. I don't know how it stacks up against SentinelOne and others, but I suspect that it is sort of right up there. Trend Micro is a very large company. They put a lot of money into the development of their products and so on. I would recommend it to others, and I have already been recommending it to others because our clients pretty much are on Trend Micro products. So, there would be legacy ones. To those who are coming for renewal, I recommend moving to XDR. I would rate Trend Micro XDR about a nine out of 10.

I rate Trend Micro XDR seven out of 10. If you plan to implement XDR you should be aware of the IOC coverage and follow up with the Trend Micro team. Most things are covered, but it takes time to add and deploy all that stuff.
I would rate Trend Micro XDR ten out of ten. We have over 100 Trend Micro XDR users.
We are using the latest version of the solution. This is a SaaS solution. I'd recommend the solution to other users. I would rate the solution eight out of ten.
We're partners. I'd recommend the solution to others. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
I'm using the latest version of the solution. I've only worked with the solution for a few months and therefore need time before I'd recommend it, although it seems to be very good for small to medium-sized organizations. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
I'm an end-user. We are using the latest version of the solution. The support is pretty good. It is really straightforward. It is very easy to understand, and therefore, I highly recommend the solution. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
We are partners. We're also partners with Sophos. We are using the latest version of the solution. While we still use an on-premises version, most of the solution is now on the cloud. I'd advise potential new users to start using the basic check and move up from there. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
I would rate Trend Micro XDR a seven out of ten.
While Trend Micro XDR is still new and can be rough around the edges, I would like to emphasize that it is a good product and it's working fine. I can definitely recommend it. I would rate Trend Micro XDR a seven out of ten.
It is a very good solution. It is a new product in the market, so you cannot compare it with many products. I would rate Trend Micro XDR a nine out of 10.
We're a partner. We have a business relationship with Trend Micro. I'd advise other organizations to try it out. It's a good, solid product. We've been quite pleased with the overall results. On a scale from one to ten, I'd give it an eight.
