Veeam is highly effective in supporting disaster recovery. It provides detailed configuration options and generally performs better than Acronis. The product's key features for managing data recovery include performance improvements and backup capabilities for various systems and virtual servers. Its impact on operational costs and recovery time objectives depends on the defined policies, such as differential or full backups, and recovery time objectives. AI in Veeam is still developing. I have seen some documentation but still need to engage with it fully. I recommend it to others and rate it a ten.

We recommend Veeam to a wide range of businesses, from small enterprises to large corporations. Veeam products are generally user-friendly, although navigating through logs may occasionally be necessary, it's not overly complex. I rate it an eight.
Veeam Data Platform is very flexible and provides many options for storing data on several different platforms, depending on what the customer wants to achieve. The solution's deployment requires two people, including a networking and storage person. Managing the solution takes a quarter of an FTE or one. Veeam Data Platform is less functional than other products but is more cost-effective. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Veeam Data Platform is not a good solution for customers who do not use VMware. Veeam Data Platform doesn't have storage and needs to integrate with other vendors for storage. Customers using anything other than VMware should clarify all the requirements and limitations of Veeam Data Platform before using it. It is easy to integrate the solution with other systems like Lenovo and Dell. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
My experience with data recovery using the Veeam Data Platform has been very good, smooth, and efficient. The solution is very intuitive and easy to use. It's straightforward, and the layout is nice. Veeam Data Platform gives us peace of mind and assurance that we have a product backing up our data and that we can retrieve it reliably. One of the biggest problems with other backups is that sometimes, retrieving the data is not as easy as it should be. So, we get peace of mind with the Veeam Data Platform. If in doubt, I recommend users do a trial with the Veeam Data Platform. Once they've tested and seen how easy and reliable it is, they can choose to use the solution. We've not had to rely on the Veeam Data Platform for disaster. If we were to have a disaster, the solution would give us assurance. The solution is invaluable at the moment. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
The platform has a useful disaster recovery feature. Additionally, it has a good feature for instant recovery. However, a notable consideration arises when dealing with a scenario involving seventeen workloads, where customization may require the provision of two packs, each accommodating ten instances of Instant VM recovery. This setup could potentially result in having three VMs left unused. I rate it a nine out of ten.

Veeam Data Platform has a significant difference compared to other tools or products. It is not very simple because it offers a lot of advanced features that can solve various problems in customers' environments. However, managing it is not difficult, but it's not as straightforward as Acronis, which is simpler because it focuses on core features like backup and simple recovery without many additional complexities. I find that I rarely encounter issues with the product. One notable aspect is the simplicity of its licensing, especially when compared to other vendors. Additionally, with each use, I discover more features. I rate the overall product a ten out of ten.

Thoroughly check compatibility. Veeam is amazing, but it has limitations. Even if someone says it works with your environment, double-check everything. Verify application versions and cluster support. This is the biggest challenge customers face. They buy Veeam and then discover unsupported cluster scenarios later because they didn't ask about specific versions or configurations. For example, a customer would buy Veeam, and then later on, the customer would discover that "I have a Postgres SQL database, but it is a cluster. Then, Veeam will not support its cluster." But during the initial phase, the customer didn't check that point. I recommend all potential customers to carefully check compatibility with their existing systems, with all the details. Based on my experience, it's been very solid. Moreover, Veeam is making many changes and improvements. I'd give rate it a nine out of ten.
In our company, we will introduce Veeam Data Platform as a backup for Office 365, with which we will reduce the total instances that we are protecting because we have already removed some virtual machines. After the aforementioned process is followed, we will eventually revise our license for backing up our data that is hosted on Office 365 platform, and then we will use even more features, after which we will know how that works. Basically, we are very happy with the solution. In our company, we don't even have upgrades to deal with since they are being taken care of very smoothly by Veeam. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it, and I still recommend it to a lot of the people who use the community version of the tool, which is also great for small infrastructures. I rate the overall tool a ten out of ten.
Veeam is the only IT vendor that provides many features in one bundle. I recommend the tool to others. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
We strongly advocate using Veeam for specific cases, particularly for backup services and Disaster Recovery as a Service. These are the two primary cases we utilize to enhance our customer solutions. On a scale of one to ten, with one being the worst and ten being the best, I would rate this product as an eight.
If you are looking for a physical backup and have deployed on physical servers, you should choose Veeam. It has an interface that's easy to use. I rate Veeam Data Platform a seven out of ten. We only have the enterprise backup, not the endpoint backup. It's an enterprise solution, and we have to try it out.
Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. I would advise determining the required disk space, defining backup policies clearly, and planning for the necessary equipment.
Veeam Data Platform backs up and replicates virtual machines, protects server farms, provides database backup, and delivers disaster recovery solutions. Users utilize it for protecting Office 365 data, ensuring business continuity, monitoring environments, migrating snapshots, and securing data in offsite locations or the cloud.
Veeam Data Platform is recognized for its ease of setup, reliability, and ability to handle diverse IT infrastructures. It is popular among users for its data...
