Zimbra's strength lies in its individuality, and it should focus on leveraging its unique features rather than trying to emulate competitors. My organization has certified Zimbra technicians, so we believe we can utilize Zimbra certification. However, I was recently informed by Zimbra that no such certification exists. I have recently completed the test kit, and after the training, I will gain access to tickets. Therefore, if any clients are experiencing issues, we have a certified technical team available to provide support 24/7. This is how we can cater to our client's needs. I recommend Zimbra to small-scale and enterprise customers. Anyone, even those with 5 users, can opt for Zimbra. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
We use the product for sending and receiving emails. The collaboration functionality within Zimbra Enterprise serves as a localized alternative to cloud-based platforms like OneDrive, functioning within our local system infrastructure. It has significantly enhanced our organization's internal and external communications, catering to a user base of 8,200 individuals. The most valuable feature of Zimbra for our team's productivity is its efficiency in handling email communication. The platform excels in sending and receiving emails with large file attachments within the local system, ensuring a remarkably fast process surpassing online solutions' performance. Furthermore, integrating Zimbra's calendar and email features has significantly impacted our scheduling and task management. However, it could be a more reliable product. We are still encountering downtime. It is affected by various factors, including the team's expertise in managing the platform due to issues arising from upgrades and documentation handling. I rate it a nine out of ten.
Zimbra Collaboration is a good solution for messaging and collaboration. When compared with Google or Office 365, Zimbra Collaboration is a good solution since it has a lot of extra features that can be used, which I don't know yet. If you want a solution just for messaging, collaboration, sharing of Zimbra Drive or files, and something else, you can use Zimbra Collaboration. Zimbra is cheap, and you get the basic functionalities and features. When you use Office 365, you have all the applications from the suite of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams and some other features. If you use Google Workspace platform, you get to use many extra features. Zimbra Collaboration can be useful for messaging and its collaboration capabilities. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
While I'm not sure of the exact version we're using, it is not the latest version. We may be switching to MS Exchange. Our department head would like to switch. However, our IT team doesn't want another project at this time. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten overall.
I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. It’s changing very quickly. It has no free version like Gmail has. I think that's the main reason why customers are not using it in our area. As long as I can remember, there was a free version, but now there is no free version, which is very important for customers to know.

The product is on the client side, so our company provides implementation and support services. The solution is best suited for medium enterprises, although my organization supports mainly government organizations which range from medium to large. I rate Zimbra Collaboration as an eight out of ten.

I rate Zimbra Collaboration eight out of 10. It stacks up well compared to OWA or Microsoft Exchange. I've developed solutions for my clients using all of these. And compared to other web applications, I prefer the web-hosted Zimbra. I think Zimbra is more reliable and competitive than Microsoft because they offer an open-source version.
I'd recommend the solution to other organizations due to the fact that the solution very low-cost and it's an open-source option - which is very attractive to many companies. We installed it in a Linux system so that we can get more security on our platform. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We are quite satisfied with the capabilities of the product.

My advice is to try and make sure that the target environment is suited for the web interface because that is where most of its features are found. I rate Zimbra Collaboration a nine out of ten.

I would recommend this solution, but it depends on the size of the company and the cost. The number of emails that you use impacts the cost of the solution. For a small company, Zimbra Collaboration is good because it is simple, inexpensive, and not very difficult to deploy. For a big company, Microsoft Exchange is good because you have to manage the data, storage, and user emails, and you need a tool that can easily do it for you. Microsoft Exchange provides tools to manage the space and the server. You can create your own policy for emails. For example, you can save emails that are two years old somewhere else. Zimbra Collaboration currently does not have such functionality, and it is something very inconvenient because the emails keep on increasing, and the storage is not unlimited. Therefore, you have to find a way to manage the storage to save all emails and have free space for the new ones. This functionality is really powerful in Microsoft Exchange. That's why for a big company with 1,000 or more users, it's good to have Microsoft Exchange. It, however, also depends on your budget. I would rate Zimbra Collaboration a seven out of ten. In spite of the lower cost of Zimbra Collaboration as compared to Microsoft Exchange, our management is planning to migrate to Microsoft Exchange because of the issue with storage management.
Zimbra Collaboration provides administrators and their end users innovative features that solve the challenges faced by organizations using today's legacy communications infrastructure.
I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
