We are a community of researchers in medicine and bioinformatics. I would be interested in a practical, comprehensive guidance/video/book/best practice for migrating our research project to O365. We would be interested in using data storage, co-editing/collaborative, SharePoint, and Teams features.

Well, migrating Office 365 requires you to study some areas like the study O365 license model, you have to move Active Directory to Azure/Cloud fully, or hybrid means you do a synch with on-premise AD. SharePoint/Office365 and OneDrive will work if you do for an E5 license, which will provide you with a Power BI license also.
