I find the price too expensive. It looks a bit like SAP, so it does have standard functionality out of the box, but you will spend a lot of money if you want to customize it. However, the price is not as extreme as SAP or Oracle, but the actual implementation does turn out to be expensive.

Initially, it was more expensive, but we managed to negotiate the price. It's about average now. In addition to the standard fees, we bought the Jumpstart package to help us configure it.
For the South American market, the prices are very high. We work with discounts, but it depends a lot on our commercial agent, and there is a lot of variance in pricing between different customers.

I know AlgoSec can be expensive. I've heard from some of the platform users who worked at other companies that wanted to use AlgoSec, but it wasn't within their budget. Large enterprises can use it if they have a huge network with several devices. It's worth the cost if they spend a lot of time auditing and dealing with security concerns. It pays off in the long run. You must pay for the basic AlgoSec license and the number of devices onboarded. There are licenses per firewall and network device. I believe you also must pay extra for firewalls with ActiveChange. I don't know the precise figures because I don't work with them, but I think they change.

We purchase licenses based on the number of security devices in our network. When I have active and standby firewalls, if I do an analysis of the active firewall and by mistake, I also do an analysis of the secondary or standby firewall, it'll consume two licenses from the total number of licenses I have. So, I need to change the license and make the active firewall secondary. They need to improve how they are counting the number of licenses. We have discussed this with the consultation team of AlgoSec.

Licensing AlgoSec is easy. To license AlgoSec, you must get a MAC address on the AlgoSec server, then you can deploy the AlgoSec server in your environment. And if you get a MAC address, you must update on the AlgoSec portal to request the license

I am a fan of AlgoSec for its pricing. As a small branch, getting any amount of money, is very difficult. Less than a thousand dollars, that will take some effort for two reasons: * Asking for money. * It wasn't in the budget. The price came in where we really didn't even need to have much of a discussion. That was very good. There are also options regarding what you want to pay for. It wasn't really pushed on me that I have to get all of it or else I can't be an AlgoSec customer. There are training and support levels that come in beyond the product itself, and we did subscribe to the training. We also have the support. The pricing has been very approachable, and that is why we have it here.

We are working with our finance department right now to be able to purchase it. The AlgoSec team is doing everything that they can in their power to get the costs down to where our budget is. They have worked a lot on it. They have cut the cost in half for us so far by questioning, "This is in the quote. Is this something that is actually needed?" They have pulled some stuff out and cut our costs down by 50% for the product itself.

I don't actually know what the pricing is. We had a quote to get some professional services done for a couple of weeks. From my perspective, the cost was reasonable. It was 30,000 AU dollars for a few weeks. For the business that was unreasonable because they were trying to cut costs. But I would have seen that as a reasonable price to put on a few weeks of PS.
I can’t say that this is a cheap system. It's affordable for large enterprises and, in some cases, for mid-sized companies. For the majority of other companies, this solution is out of their price range.
AlgoSec is not a cheap product. If I compare Firemon and AlgoSec, because I am also Firemon certified, Firemon is still cheaper in price than AlgoSec. That is another catch.

In terms of pricing, it would be useful if they could be a bit more aggressive to their competition in the market. They need more aggressive pricing. That would be certainly more helpful to the market overall.

For the AFF solution, it is necessary to purchase a license for each network asset so that the solution is complete, depending on the size of the environment.
Definitely the simplicity to use this solution is the key factor to be a leader in this competition and the other factor is the response and support model.

It is fair. For cloud environments, it can be expensive. The model adopted to use as licensing for the cloud environment should be reviewed since it sometimes can increase the value of the service/product in an unexpected way. For example, they should instead use the amount of instances, which should just take into consideration the number of Security Groups and ACLs.
Cost is based on firewall. There are bundles, e.g., virtual firewalls might make the solution cheaper. The licensing scheme should be done in a simpler way. For example, if we delete a firewall and want to add a new one, then the license doesn't get freed up automatically. You have to request a new license to customer support and install it. If you are testing new implementations, this can be cumbersome.

I propose to purchase licenses for all of the networking devices in the network, because if not all of the devices are integrated then the query of particular access cannot be discovered entirely.
My advice is to please make sure that you evaluate other competitive products before choosing this solution. The price is high but the support is extremely poor, so keep that in mind before choosing this product.
Initial setup was not that hard. Vendor did this for us. Licensing depends on how many firewalls your company has. They have license options for small to big customers depending on the network. Price is fair for Licensing and Product.
Licenses are provided by firewall and routers. Do not underestimate the number of routers because the price can be significantly reduced as you buy more licenses. Same if you go for more than one product (i.e. FireFlow, BusinessFlow)
The pricing for this solution is not cheap, but we get a good value for what we pay. We get free time to work on other projects and it facilitates our daily operations.
The setup for this solution is not very costly. The licensing is very easy to set up, with flexible licensing methods such as subscription and perpetual. The pricing itself is also flexible, with it being related to the number of devices and applications.
I do not have much information on the pricing, as I wasn't part of the actual procurement process. I was told that the pricing and licensing was comparatively fair.
Setup is easy; we use a VM to run it. Having knowledge in Linux is not a requirement but helps when required to update the software. Also, ensure the reseller has the ability to escalate any issues in case they can't fix it for you. Your licensing should cover the support of the product.

We also purchased AlgoSec's FireFlow tool. We have had challenges getting value from it, and it is because the scope of this tool is very broad compared to Analyzer. In hindsight, we should have created a formal project and management backing to ensure success with this tool. The scope of a Fireflow implementation touches many organizations and we did not have an appreciation of the need for involvement of so many.
Setup is really straightforward, and their professional services are available for your every need. About costs, I don't see much difference from its competitors.
AlgoSec, a global cybersecurity leader, empowers organizations to secure application connectivity and cloud-native applications throughout their multi-cloud and hybrid network.
Trusted by more than 1,800 of the world’s leading organizations, AlgoSec’s application-centric approach enables to securely accelerate business application deployment by centrally managing application connectivity and security policies across the public clouds, private clouds, containers, and on-premises networks. ...
The pricing is moderate. It's not that cheap and it's not expensive.
I am into operations and not aware of cost or pricing.
The setup is very easy, and while I can't say anything definitive about the pricing in terms of competition, licensing is also quite straightforward.
The price is not the lowest, however, it is reasonable and offers good ROI.
The cost and licensing are reasonable.

Quality has a price.
The pricing could be better.
The setup cost must be affordable. Government-based institutions do not have sufficient budgets. Extra modules could be added as extra costs.
This kind of solution has to be useful, lightweight, and easy to afford for the customers.
The licensing is commendable.
We'd like the solution to share the complete Infrastructure details along with the business use cases with AlgoSec SE to evaluate and propose the best fit deployments and licensing. Pricing-wise, AlgoSec still needs to support the customers.
The license was initially renewed every three years but it's now done on an annual basis. I'm not aware of any additional costs.
Price is not my concern. If a tool does its job, it is not my concern to obtain a good price for it. If a tool is needed, we are going to buy it.

In terms of pricing, it is more expensive than other solutions. It's expensive because we also have the AFA module.
The pricing is good. Though, I would like if pricing could better support small businesses.
The cost of the tool can be recovered with AlgoSec automations.
In terms of pricing, it would be useful if they could be a bit more aggressive to their competition in the market. They need more aggressive pricing. That would be certainly more helpful to the market overall.
I would suggest that you start with a VM, get a PoC with a temp license, and try it out. You will love it.

I'm part of the team that uses the AlgoSec solution, not on the finance IT team.
The price is within the standard of security products.
Pricing is great if you have a small number of large firewalls, otherwise, it does not bring ROI.
I propose to purchase licenses for all of the networking devices in the network, because if not all of the devices are integrated then the query of particular access cannot be discovered entirely.
