The cost of Amazon EBS is slightly higher compared to other competitors, approximately five to ten percent higher. However, the benefits, including high performance and reliability, outweigh the costs, making it a cost-efficient option.
The solution is quite costly. There was an instance when we were not using 50 volumes. They were available and were costing us even though we were not using them. We ran a script to delete them. It's better to keep a watch on it and delete it whenever it is not needed. AWS has a pay-as-you-go model.

The product offers different pricing models. The pricing models may be for general purposes, such as Amazon EBS Provisioned IOPS Volume or Amazon EBS Cold HDD Volumes. The volume size can be considered while checking the costs attached to the product. Coming to the general purpose, our company checks for bandwidth performance since it will be used for a wide range of workloads. Amazon EBS Provisioned IOPS Volume will be for intensive workloads.

The cost of using EBS is high compared to other cloud vendors such as Tencent Cloud or CARI Cloud. For example, the EBS standard storage and snapshot are relatively expensive. If we cannot maintain our snapshot policy in a good economic way, there will be extra costs. Some costs are generated immediately and some are likely to increase. If the price of snapshots keeps increasing, we might not be able to afford it anymore. In terms of costliness, I would rate it an eight out of ten.

Price is a big challenge for Amazon EBS. The price of the product is the reason why Azure is gaining popularity in the market. On a scale of one to ten, where one is low price, and ten is high, I rate the price a seven. The addition of networking solutions is an additional cost in Amazon EBS. If the process or storage capacity is increased in the product, the cost also increases.

Amazon EBS is expensive. What I want Amazon to do is lower the price. All the functionality that I could think of and would like to consume is already there. It's just that there's a subset of it that's not affordable to us yet.
Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) provides persistent block level storage volumes for use with Amazon EC2 instances in the AWS Cloud. Each Amazon EBS volume is automatically replicated within its Availability Zone to protect you from component failure, offering high availability and durability. Amazon EBS volumes offer the consistent and low-latency performance needed to run your workloads. With Amazon EBS, you can scale your usage up or down within minutes – all while paying a...
In terms of pricing, Amazon EBS is not expensive. The pay-for-what-you-use model justifies the amount paid, with no extra or hidden charges.

Pricing is reasonable if storage is utilized and optimized efficiently.
On a scale of one to ten, if one point is a cheap solution and ten points is very expensive, I rate the product price an eight.
I find the price reasonable for our environment.

You need to pay additional costs for support.

The price is okay and fair. Especially if you go for general purpose because it requires low latency accessibility.
