If you buy the whole package right now, this is what we are considering: the workspace and the enterprise. The cost of the whole package, the biggest package with the full functionality, is not high. But if I use only the patch element, it's somehow expensive. Because the other solutions are quite cheap. But when we go higher to the fullest functionality, BigFix provides us with a better solution, even pricing-wise.
The tool's price continues to go up. The cost per endpoint can vary, ranging from approximately 30 to 80 dollars per year. Compared to other products, pricing is in the middle. You need to buy an additional database license, but most users already have it.

From a technical standpoint, it's strong in security and flexibility, but it requires a lot of customization. It's not straightforward. If we compare it to Azure and ForceWise, it might be considered a bit costly. I'm not sure how to articulate it, but it's costly because I have to build my own infrastructure, whereas with other SaaS solutions, I don't need to do that. So, the pricing is slightly more expensive than the others. I have to keep buying licenses every time I add a new device. If I require 1000 devices, I’ll need 1000 more licenses. So, the price mainly depends on the number of devices.
I'm not sure of the exact licensing structure. It might be about $23 a client. Some of the modules, such as security compliance and lifecycle, may cost extra. For example, the integration with BigFix and Micorosft Defender may require an extra license.

I give the cost of the solution a five out of ten. The price is moderate. There's not much big cost. We only have to pay the agents' cost for the server, and for the systems.
The patching tool is $250 per client device per year. The inventory and discovery tool is $15 per client per year. They have a lifecycle management tool that is the central component for managing endpoints, which costs around $43 per year. BigFix Compliance is the other part, and that's also around $43.

The price of BigFix is better than the solutions. You are able to pay monthly or annually. There are not any hidden costs with BigFix. There is an additional cost for the SQL database. I rate the price of BigFix a five out of five.

You are charged per server and per workstation when using BigFix. ManageEngine is a lot cheaper than BigFix. There are some additional costs, such as support.

The licens price of the HCL BigFix is very fair. The challenge is the license of the MS SQL server. If you can handle DB2 - The DB2 database server that is included with BigFix is free to use. Because the MS SQL -server express cannot be used unless demo purposes, I recommend and SPLA license for the MS SQL server wich gives you the oppuritiny to connect an unlimited numbers of clients to the BigFix server.

BigFix does license per server and per workstation. The cost depends on how many servers or work stations you are dealing with, and which tier of service you use. BigFix consists of four modules. You get what we call the Platform Edition, which you get for free. The patch service is maybe $0.50 per workstation per month. Then there's the basic server cost, which is about $1.50 per server per month. You also get into Lifecycle which does power management, OSD remote control, and those types of things, and that might be about 10 times the price - which works out to about $13 per server and, maybe $5 per workstation per month. It's all pretty customizable and you can just get the bare minimum or trade-up for a bit more.

License management isn't quite as easy as it should be to deal with the licensing. You need to take the server down to import the new licenses which I find to be annoying.
HCL BigFix is a powerful patch management tool that enables organizations to simply control their patch management operations. It is designed so that IT security and operations teams can collaborate in the most effective way possible. Users that employ BigFix can find and fix issues with their endpoints faster than those that employ its competitors. It comes with thousands of security checks that can be deployed quickly and easily. These enable users to safeguard themselves from a wide...
The pricing is competitive, but not the most competitive.

On a scale from one to ten, where one is expensive and ten is cheap, I rate the solution's pricing one out of ten.
The product is affordable. I rate the solution’s pricing a three out of ten, where one is cheap, and ten is high.

The pricing was good. We had government pricing going into the project and it was pretty fair.
The price of the solution is high. There are not any additional fees from the standard license. I rate the price of BigFix a seven out of ten.

The price of BigFix could be lower. However, I am always seeking a lower price.

We have a subscription-based contract with BigFix.

It is too costly. It is one of the best tools, but because of pricing, not all clients support it. Its licensing is on a yearly basis.
The price is reasonable, but our customers find it expensive.

We always were able to get our client the best cost from the vendor, so pricing was not really an issue.

Compliance, and lifestyle are a bit pricey especially to customers that get SCCM included as part of their ELA. It's makes convincing harder.
It is cheaper than other solutions on the market.
