Cisco solutions are expensive, and because of that, moving to new upgrades is challenging due to cost considerations. For licensing, I budget approximately $100 per user annually and project future upgrades to increase the cost to around $260 per user. As I have over 1,500 fixed nodes, this would entail a substantial expense.
I rate the product's pricing a ten out of ten. Cisco switches cost around 15,000 dollars, and DNS licenses cost around 25,000 dollars. The total amount is 45,000 dollars, which is too expensive.

The solution falls under the pricier category, but it provides value for the price charged. The exchange rates of USD and the currency of Egypt should be taken into consideration before buying any product. Our company has to pay additionally for maintenance or support.
Cisco is an expensive solution. It was not cheap. We only use it sometimes for this reason. Licensing can be yearly or permanent, depending on what you decide.
While Cisco products are excellent, the problem is the cost. Cisco products are product, Cisco products are very expensive. I rate Cisco FabricPath three out of 10 for affordability.

The solution is very, very cheap compared with all other brands - including Huawei or HPE Switches. We buy Cisco for the performance, really the performance, scalability, backup, and a lot of technology like VPC, OTV, or VDC, Virtual Device Context. It's good.
The price of Cisco FabricPath could be reduced, it is expensive in the market here. The solution is available as perpetual, subscriptions-based, and Tier-based licensing, if the customer wants any future integrations, or if there are any future enhancements they will have to pay. Purchasing a subscription-based license gives you the opportunity to adjust/upgrade the terms of the license (such as moving from Advantage to Premier) at the time of license renewal.

The pricing could be lower, which would make it easier to sell to clients. Cisco has an entire product line and a setup team, which looks at the marketing and how to position the product, and I believe they do take this into consideration when launching and pricing their products. That said, it would be helpful if the product was more competitive in the pricing category.
Cisco FabricPath is a Cisco NX-OS software innovation combining the plug-and-play simplicity of Ethernet with the reliability and scalability of Layer 3 routing. Using FabricPath, you can build highly scalable Layer 2 multipath networks without the Spanning Tree Protocol. Such networks are particularly suitable for large virtualization deployments, private clouds, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The benefits of Cisco FabricPath include: Minimal commands per switch ease...

Pricing and related discussions are handled by the sales team, not my team.
The pricing of Cisco FabricPath can be quite high depending on the architecture, but it's justified by the stability it offers.
The solution is neither cheap nor expensive. I rate the product’s pricing an eight out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.

While it is a very useful product, it is expensive. We find the value we get to be worth the money we spend.
The prices for FabricPath are very high, and Cisco also takes a long time to deliver products (in Mexico, the delivery time is eight months).
The solution is pretty expensive. We have to pay a yearly licensing fee.

The pricing for this product is good.
We are satisfied with the pricing.
