At the moment, we are looking to deploy FabricPath on-premises. We are extending the private cloud to the customer. From our data center, we are connected with Azure and Amazon. We want to create a solution like a cloud, where our data center appears as a cloud for the customer. Before choosing FabricPath, get the right design initially to support the right tools. I rate FabricPath an eight out of ten.
I would recommend the solution; however, usually, based on how expensive it can be, it may not be ideal for clients. I'd rate it a nine out of ten as I appreciate its capabilities.
I rate Cisco FabricPath seven out of 10. Cisco switches and routers are the best. They work well, but you need technical training to set them up and administer them.

We are a user and provide support on devices. I'm not sure which version of the solution we're using. If a company has to deploy multiple applications where the speed and the accuracy of communication matter, then I would suggest Cisco FabricPath. That said, if they have too many legacy applications or too many legacy requirements for the network, then a different type of technology could be more suitable. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. Cisco FabricPath is a very good technology, and I have been using it within my profession.

I'd rate the solution at a ten out of ten. We've been very happy with its capabilities. I would recommend the product for a company that has a very big data center. It's good for those in banking or insurance, for example.
I would not recommend this solution for small-scale networks because it is a bit expensive and particularly at this moment, Other than the price, I would recommend it technically. I rate Cisco FabricPath a nine out of ten.
Most of our customers are satisfied with the solutions from Cisco. That said, nothing is ever completed because everybody has their own difficulties and challenges. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

We're a reseller as well as a partner. We primarily deal with Cisco products at my organization. I have some knowledge of Aruba as well. FabricPath is Cisco's version of TRILL, an open-source version. I work for a value-added reseller and we're also a system integrator. I work as a technical consultant and I'm more versed in the solution's details, rather than the implementation side of things. Most of our customers range from SMBs to government sector organizations. I'd advise others to do their due diligence and read up on the solution first. Everyone should go through the documentation and the tool before committing to the product. The implementation isn't too hard. It's more important to understand the underlying concepts and to design around that. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten overall.

Since 2019, I have been part of the pre-sales team. I have been certified by Cisco for twenty years. I am a CCNP Network Specialist for Routing and Switching, for Security, and I have certification for CCDP Design. I also have other minor certifications including Aruba ACSP. FabricPath is a very good technology, but we can always do better. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
What is a LAN switch? LAN switches are devices that connect different components of a network. They take data that is moving through the network architecture and make sure that it arrives at the device that is designated as its ultimate endpoint. LAN switches are a very specific class of network switches. They connect network devices across a limited area. This network could be the size of a segment of a single building or a small campus that spreads out over several miles. LAN switches are...
