In the past, the pricing was a good point, but at this moment, the pricing is a bit high because the price has increased a lot. In many cases, companies don't want to renew their Citrix Gateway solution because the price is very high. At this moment, you only have the option to buy the biggest product pack. In the past, you had different options for buying Citrix ADC. Now, you can only buy the most biggest product package, the premium ADC. It doesn't matter if you need all the features or not; you have to buy the whole bundle. The support is included in the standard license fee. But if you want to have a higher level of support, you need to pay more.

Compared to other products, WAF is more costlier than LB, but in Citrix, LB is more expensive than WAF. We have a yearly subscription. You may get a discount if you go for three years. There is an additional cost for support, and the license covers only VM.
There are many licensing options. Some clients prefer to pay monthly. Others pay outright and then just pay for support. Others pay for an annual license. I'd rate the solution three out of five in terms of affordability.

Pricing is very high if you do a comparison with what is available in the market. It ends up being very expensive. Apart from licensing, there are additional fees for support and partnerships.
As mentioned before, setup is fairly simple and documented on the Citrix eDocs. there's a lot of information and how-to articles which facilitates all the setup. The new pooled licensing model also can be very useful in hybrid or wide deployments.
Citrix Gateway is a customer-managed solution that can be deployed on premises or on any public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Citrix Gateway provides users with secure access and single sign-on to all the virtual, SaaS and web applications they need to be productive.

This is a licensed solution.
It is expensive and requires proper planning with strategy.
I'm not sure about the pricing. As an end-user, it's not an aspect I can handle.
It costs about 4,000 a year.
I believe the pricing is comparable to SaaS.

Usually, with Citrix the issue is the pricing, especially for the African region. We believe it's really expensive.
