For small-scale usage, GitLab offers a free tier. For enterprise pricing, GitLab is more expensive than GitHub, as it's not as widely adopted. GitLab is the preferred choice for many developers despite its higher monthly pricing plan, which is around $126.
GitLab is a paid version, Ultimate GitLab. It has three editions: one is a free edition or a community edition. They have a premium edition, which is a paid version. Then, they have the ultimate edition, which is also a paid edition. There are no hidden costs or fees associated with the product. I pay one price and get everything I need.

GitLab has three plans: starter, professional, and LTMH. The LTMH is $99 for user permits, but some integrators in Morocco bundle GitLab into a package. It's reasonable, but they could lower the price now that we have a huge community and many users.

The solution's standard license is paid annually. They have changed the pricing tiers and removed the bronze tier, which was the perfect sweet spot. There is a free version available. I rate the price of GitLab a seven out of 10.
In terms of the pricing for GitLab, on a scale of one to five, with one being expensive and five being cheap, I'm rating pricing for the solution a four. It could still be cheaper because right now, my company has a small team, and sometimes it's difficult to use a paid product for a small team. You'd hope the team will grow and scale, but currently, you're paying a high license fee for a small team. I'm referring to the GitLab license that has premium features and will give you all features. This can be a problem for management to approve the high price of the license for a team this small.
When I was hired (in 2020) they told me that they were using an open-source version. I'm not sure if that's still the case as it's a quite big company. Nowadays they should be using some kind of paid version, as the demand is pretty high, as far as I know. I'm not sure of the exact licensing costs.

It is very expensive. We can't bear it now, and we have to find another solution. We have a yearly subscription in which we can increase the number of licenses, but we have to pay at the end of the year.

Its price is fine. It is on the cheaper side and not expensive. You have to pay additionally for GitLab CI/CD minutes. Initially, we used the free version. When we ran out of GitLab minutes, we migrated to the paid version.

GitLab can be used free of charge but if you use it for years and move to a paid license then it is better because you have more services. I think that we pay approximately $100 USD per month.

Speaking about the pricing of the solution, my company uses GitLab Community Edition.
Price-wise, it is a reasonable solution. On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a five out of ten.

I believe we are using the free version of GitLab.
We pay a yearly licensing fee. The pricing is pretty low. It's not too expensive.
In total, I believe we have more than 300 licenses spread over about 100 users, though I can't comment on the costs involved.
As I work in a vast enterprise, I'm unsure about the licensing cost for GitLab. It's the management team that takes care of that.
This is an open-source solution.
There are different licensing options available, including a free limited-user license.

GitLab is comparatively expensive, but it provides value because it's feature-rich. I would rate its pricing four out of five.

We are using the Community Edition and this is free.
I can't speak to the exact cost or licensing structure. I don't deal with this aspect of the product.

We are using its free version, and we are evaluating its Premium version. Its Ultimate version is very expensive.
I don't mind the price because I use the free version. The licensing fee could be less expensive.
