I'm not very satisfied with the current licensing model that mandates a license for adding a new interface, which wasn't the case initially. Our needs, particularly as an educational institution, are different. We believe that the product pricing and policies should be more adaptable to better serve clients like us.
For 10 to 15 users, if you have to go for the SRX3, a startup central router, in terms of dollars, it is maybe $300 annually. This is just the hardware cost. $300 to $400 is the hardware cost and for licensing cost, it may be around, for support and all, $100 per year. This is for an enterprise user.

There is a license for this solution and the price is very competitive. The cost is less expensive than some competitors, such as Cisco. There are additional costs for support licenses.

When you buy the product, it has everything inside. Only very special cases require some licenses, but they are quite special and normally you'll have a reason to get these special licenses. So the licenses are quite good. The license does not cost anything.

I would rate it around a three. While I'm not deeply involved in pricing discussions, I believe it is comparatively more affordable than Cisco.
The solution is more expensive compared to other solutions. It provides better hardware architecture design, but it translates into cost.

I would rate the pricing model a seven out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive. It is not cheap.
The pricing of Juniper MX Series Routers is okay compared to other technologies.
The prices for Juniper MX Series Routers are reasonable.
We find the solution to be expensive. We mainly deal with annual subscriptions. There are no additional costs involved unless we change versions.
You do have to pay for the solution, however, there isn't an additional licensing cost.
