It's a high-priced solution compared to Selenium. Selenium is free, though there is a paid version now too. Selenium has improved a lot, and it's still okay to use. It's a functional testing tool, just like UFT. OpenText UFT Developer is a per-user license cost, and there are two types: floating and seat licenses. * A seat license is dedicated to one person. * A floating license can be used by multiple people. For example, if a company has five floating licenses, five people can use UFT at the same time. The license can be moved from one person to another. Cost-wise, I think it's around $8,000 to $10,000 per user license, depending on the discount. It's not per month, it's per user license.

Its cost is a bit high. From the licensing perspective, I am using a concurrent license. It is not a seed license. It is something that I can use in our network. It can also be used by other users.

The pricing of the solution is high. It's more than $10,000 per floating license. That's a yearly cost. There are no additional costs on top of that, however.

Pricing is the biggest feature. When we compare in the market with other tools that have similar features, it may be a little bit extra, but the cost is ten times less.

As far as comparing to other products, the licensing costs for UFT are very high. I don't remember the cost exactly. The maintenance of the service contract was very high as well and, frankly — compared with more modern tools — it was and is not worth it. A good thing is that there are not any costs in addition to standard licensing fees, but the standard licensing fees are going to be high in comparison to other products so you don't gain anything.

Pricing depends on which model you choose. The cloud version has a monthly fee, whereas on-prem versions offer yearly or monthly fees. You can also purchase a permanent license. If your license expires, you will still be able to use the solution, but without support.

I think the cost of UFT is too high and obviously expensive, especially if you consider that there are other even better products, in my opinion, that are open-source. Because of the expense, we use UFT only with big companies. For a small company with a smaller budget, we can't choose UFT because UFT is very expensive.

The pricing is competitive. It is affordable and average.
Pricing is expensive. If I would rate it with one being inexpensive and ten being expensive, I would rate pricing an eight out of ten.
The licensing cost is high. There are no additional costs to the standard license. It's a yearly subscription.
The price of the solution could be lowered. The cost is approximately $25 per year for a subscription-based license.
The pricing and licensing can be a bit of a challenge.

The licensing is very expensive, so often, we don't have enough VMs to run all of our tests.

It is cheap, but if you take the enterprise license, it is valid for both software items.
I am not aware of the pricing.

The cost of this solution is a little bit high and we are considering moving to another one.
