The cost is reasonable for our company. There is no license cost; we pay only for Azure Compute's costs. It is important to manage the cost efficiently on a daily basis.

The cost of the solution depends on the type of license we choose, such as pay-as-you-go, one-year reserve, or three-year reserve. The cost varies depending on the options selected and can be very expensive.

The pricing is competitive, but only when you pay upfront. If you pay as you go, it's not as competitive. I'd give pricing a rating of seven out of ten.
We only have to pay for what we use in the solution. It's easy for the customers. It's not more than some companies, not more than 300 to 400 users. They do not need to buy other license products, such as SAP B1, or analytics tools in the market, such as Tableau.

You have to be very careful with one specific service inside Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics which is called the Sequel Data Warehouse Dedicated. It is very reliable and performs well, but it's expensive. You need to define the tier well because you can choose between several tiers and you have to define which suits your needs and not overperform the tier because it's quite expensive.
It just depends on how big your instance is. It could be anywhere from 1,000 to 50,000 per year depending on how big your instance is. You pay based on how big you make your database. Essentially, they charge you per hour of usage.

There's no license required for Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics. the model is more of a use-based system. You got to pay for computing power and disk storage. Everything has different units and is kept backed up. Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics uses storage units(SU). This is how everything's computed for cost.

Price varies by use-case. You pay for the database itself in addition to any consumed data within Serverless plus other fees if you use the Data Factory that is inside.
Price is dependent of the use case of the customer. Customers are not likely to only use this as an individual platform/database, they are likely to bundle it with the Azure stack.

The costs are billed such that we pay for what we use, which is a good thing. For example, we have an environment where we don't need access to certain services, so we don't have to pay for them. Compared to the services available on AWS, this solution is a little bit pricey.
The type of license depends on what you want. This is a perpetual and monthly license, similar to Office 365. My company pays for the license and I am not sure about the price. Sometimes my company wants to have a micro business case study to see if it is an actual benefit for us to purchase. It is a strategic solution and we have to make sure that the organization understands this is going to save them money in the long run.

It requires a less expensive version because currently, not every customer is able to buy it. If it could have a smaller setup that doesn't require so many resources, it would be helpful, and we would be able to use it in more cases. We are a small country, and most of our customers are quite small businesses.
The is a monthly licensing fee. I can't speak to how much we actually pay, however. There is just one fee. You do not have any more costs over and above that.

The solution is subscription-based. You can also pay to use the product as you go. This is an advantage, you only get charged for the time you actually use it.
We normally pay between $300 and $500 per month, which is quite expensive for how much we actually use it, performance- and usage-wise. They have a cheap version and an expensive version, and our usage usually falls in the middle ground, which makes it not as cost-effective as it could be.

The cost of the licensing depends on the size of the warehouse, where the cost of storage is approximately $130 USD per terabyte. The charge might be several thousand dollars or more each month. There are multiple options that are available at an extra cost. For example, the advanced threat protection costs an extra $25 USD.

This solution starts at €1000.00 a month for just the basics and can go up to €300,000.00 per month for the fastest version. It's pay as you go, so you never know what your bill is going to be beforehand, and that's scary for customers. If you have someone who makes a mistake and the program's a loop that is running all night, you could receive a very expensive bill. The bad side to pay as you go is that sometimes it can stop the enthusiasm of the data scientists, as they are afraid to run a query because they are afraid of the bill and how much it will be.
Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is an end-to-end analytics solution that successfully combines analytical services to merge big data analytics and enterprise data warehouses into a single unified platform. The solution can run intelligent distributed queries among nodes, and provides the ability to query both relational and non-relational data.
Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is built with these 4 components:
Synapse SQL
Spark
Synapse Pipeline
Studio
Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics...
The financial aspect, including pricing and cost reduction, is not something I focus on.
The cost is reasonable for our company. There is no license cost; we pay only for Azure Compute's costs. It is important to manage the cost efficiently on a daily basis.
It is not a cheap solution. That said, it is reasonable compared to its peers.
Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is a moderately priced solution. We pay a yearly licensing fee for the solution. If you get help from partners, it will be expensive for you.
We have a licensing cost to pay.
The solution is expensive at the enterprise level. The license is monthly.
I rate Synapse Analytics seven out of 10. We had to learn a lot before we could get costs under control and budget appropriately. There were a lot of unknowns initially.

I'm not sure of the exact cost, however, it is around $100,000 a year.
The solution can get expensive, and it's hard to monitor the costs. It does depend on how you utilize it. You can configure it in a certain way.

I’m not sure how much the solution costs.
I don't deal with the licensing aspect of the solution.
Our license is about $5,000 per month, but it's $5,000 to $10,000 per month when you factor in services and everything else.

I don't know about the price, but I'm trying to get a sense of the cost. I believe having a good comparison would help.
Synapse is a very costly solution, and other products are available for less.
We are on a monthly payment plan for the use of Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics.
I don't have any insights into the licensing process. It is implemented on our client's side, and therefore, I'm not involved in that.
We chose the serverless option for the database which has saved us a lot of money. Our costs are approximately £600 per month.

The company chose Synapse Analytics because the price is fair and I understand it's cheaper than Snowflake.
The licensing is okay. There might be a few extra fees in addition to the standard license.
The solution is subscription-based. You can also pay to use the product as you go. This is an advantage, you only get charged for the time you actually use it.
We pay a licensing fee on a monthly basis. We find the pricing to be fair among the competition.

It's very difficult to price unless you know exactly how the customer is using it.
Because it's a cloud solution, the cost is a different convention and the licensing costs are not the same.
This is a cost-effective product.
The cost of the licensing depends on the size of the warehouse, where the cost of storage is approximately $130 USD per terabyte. The charge might be several thousand dollars or more each month. We've found the pricing to be fair. It's not too expensive.
The price of the package is not expensive and depends on how much it is used.

They are cost aggressive, and it integrates well with other Microsoft tools. For example Downstream and Teams.
Our license is very expensive.
All of the prices are available online.
In comparison, I find that AWS is much more costly.
The licensing fees for this solution are on a pay-per-use basis, and not very expensive.
The enterprise services are pretty expensive.
