@Adbul Samad Gabru I agree SAS is extremely expensive for no reason... Every year a new open source feature comes either in parallel processing or drag and drop (nocode modelling) or NLQ natural language querying... So there are many free or cheap alternatives are popping up, but the SAS pricing is stable... Big mistake for SAS...
SAS UI sucks with very small fonts as if I'm a 14 year old... Plus there is a steep learning curve with very little NLQ or GenAI integrations into Viya... (they are very late in recent developments in AI world, so why am I paying huge for a legacy software)
Did you know that they have actually a pricelist for each country per purchasing parity (for example %50 discount for Turkey, Taiwan, %60 for India etc.) but for sales people to achieve their target numbers the pricing is decided manually, very old school...
SAS is very expensive. The challenge with them is that you have to pay for a license with every module you buy. They should probably combine everything and make it cheaper and light weight in Base Version.
@Ariful Mondal They have a bundle called SAS Analytics for IoT and it's unlimited number of users for 100K USD... best bang for the bucks... And it includes %90 of all SAS capabilities, including BI, Automl, forecasting, optimization, decisioning...
Data Mining is a category of software solutions that enable organizations to extract valuable insights and patterns from large datasets. These tools utilize various algorithms and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and make predictions.
Key features of data mining tools include:
Data preprocessing: Cleaning and transforming raw data for analysis.
Pattern discovery: Identifying hidden patterns and relationships within the data.
Predictive modeling: Building models to...
I rate the product’s pricing a one out of ten.

The pricing tends to be higher, and there are additional expenses involved. I would rate it three out of ten.
@Tanin U best priced tool is Visual Analytics, 900 USD per user per year...

Our licensing covers the usage for around 50 data analysts.
I think that the cost-benefit ratio is okay. It is the right balance.
@Dieter Steinmann For half the money you pay, you can have the cake and eat it using Alteryx or DATAIKU with KNIME it's 1/3 of the money you pay...
