We purchased the basic solution, only to realize that there is an add-on model that would allow us to manage workflows automatically. However, it was very expensive, so we did not use it. Our operations are a little bit limited by not having this automated workflow. We only have our books operations in Thru and our journalists are not using it because it would have been manual work for them and they needed some integration with the manuscript submission system that would allow them to assign automatically an ID number to every dispatch. This can happen, but it wasn't included in what we purchased initially. Overall, the price of the solution is good for what it does, but when you want to add some features it can get expensive. I rate the price of Thru a four out of five.
