Infor LX is primarily used for manufacturing. The use case involved transitioning from a previous Wipro project, moving from Pfizer to GSK, with the entire migration occurring within Infor LX. For manufacturing, Infor LX is very strong, particularly on the MRP side with MRP and MPS capabilities, as well as shop floor functionality. The platform includes quality control features and integration with finance. Overall, for manufacturing, it performs very well. There are many modules implemented including inbound, outbound, and logistics. Mainly for manufacturing and processing, everything is excellent. It's a solid, proven product.

I use Infor LX for the manufacturing business at our plant. I mainly use it for operations such as purchasing, engineering master data, shop floor, inventory, and customer orders. It is important to note that I do not use Infor LX for financial purposes, we use another Financial ERP integrated with LX
I am a consultant for Infor LX, primarily working in the finance modules. I work with my clients in implementations of the ERP and in the development of programs about accessing the Infor database. I also provide support for ERP performance and training for end users.
We run the solution on-premises but on a private cloud belonging to an IaC company. We have a remote connection to the private cloud. The organization Infor LX is installed for is a cable manufacturing company, and they use the solution for their manufacturing process. Since Infor LX is ERP and all of it is integrated, they use the manufacturing, the financial, the CES, the financial essentials, and warehouse management. Another module named Web Talk is the web implementation or the front end for Infor LX.
