My primary use case for Perimeter 81 is to have a secure remote workforce. With colleagues stationed across the globe, it ensures a secure network connection, enabling seamless remote work. This is particularly vital for our multinational operations, as it guarantees that our team can access critical resources and applications securely from anywhere in the world. Perimeter 81 has become the cornerstone of our remote work infrastructure, providing peace of mind and reliability to our globally dispersed workforce.
Our company operates within the intricate and highly regulated insurance market. Here, the sanctity of data is paramount and any breach could result in significant consequences for our stakeholders. Given the sensitive nature of our data and the frequent exchange of confidential information with our clients and partners, having a secure connection at all times is non-negotiable. Perimeter 81 has emerged as a linchpin in our cybersecurity strategy. Whether our employees are working from the confines of our fortified office infrastructure or accessing systems remotely, Perimeter 81 ensures that our data remains secure. Its robust architecture dovetails seamlessly with our existing IT infrastructure, offering us peace of mind in an environment increasingly characterized by cyber threats.
We use the solution since it is required by our client in Singapore. They needed to use a VPN solution, like Perimeter 81, because they wanted to connect it from an overseas place where their workers travel.
The primary use is for secure site protection. I work at a worker's compensation company that deals with sensitive information, such as SSN, home addresses, phone numbers, and doctor notes that contain medical history and conditions. This product helps us keep the information on websites that are solely accessible through Perimeter 81 so we do not leak the patients, doctors, or adjusters' information to the public. Everything is in a safe space while at the same time, Perimeter 81 makes working from home accessible.
I use Perimeter 81 primarily for VPN connections and work and home banking. Additionally, I use it for some oil and gas applications. You should also consider using it for SD-WAN solutions. In fact, SD-WAN is one of the primary solutions offered by Perimeter 81. In order to minimize costs, you can use a zero-trust security model. We also use VPN to interconnect many branches, for example, here in Nigeria, for an operator in the oil and gas industry. We have a high frequency in our network.

My work started using Perimeter 81 as a replacement for our previous VPN provider. Our previous solution was Sophos. We are a company that is around 75% fully remote, and we are an ISO 27001 Certified legal tech solution provider to some of the largest law firms and health care providers in the UK and North America. For that reason, ensuring our internal and client data is of the highest priority. We use the Perimeter 81 solution to secure all of our internal cloud-based systems as well as the demo system for the products we sell to our customers.

We use the Perimeter 81 solution for our service desk and for supporting our customers. Our operators can work from home without any problems. Also, I can use the VPN P81 from my Android device to give support to our customers at any moment.

We use the solution for secure remote access and access policy governance. As part of our SOC2 Type 2 audit preparation, we wanted a solution that will be able to enforce secure passwords and two-factor authentication on our remote access to company development and production environments (hosted in GCP). We were using a different VPN provider yet struggled with getting those policies in place. As timelines were very aggressive, we decided to look for a managed service or a SaaS offering, and Perimeter 81 was very quick to respond and provide a test account.
I needed the solution to attach it to the vendor's file in our accounting software. The customer service team provided such an efficient and fast service. We have an account manager, which is great as we get personalized attention. I asked for the W-9 form once, and it was provided to me. I was not able to download it and then forgot about it. I asked for it again, and without any hesitation, the team provided it again. They were not rude about it. I later realized and apologized for asking for it twice.
I'm using it for the VPN, I work from a home office and need to access data from different websites. I'm a front-end web developer for a famous brand, working remotely from another country, and the content I have to access must be from different countries. There are some internal tools we must use too, and we must access them with a VPN. Some of these tools are on mobile too, so we also have to install VPN solutions on mobile phones. I have to use a tool that we can access multiple VPNs and switch regions with ease.
This is a VPN solution that caters to remote working. I rely on this software heavily in order to connect to my company's internal network. Compared to my last job, which used a different VPN vendor, Perimeter 81 has caused no issues whatsoever. I'd easily recommend Perimeter to any businesses that are interested in purchasing the software. As an end-user, speaking from experience, I've found no issues whatsoever with this VPN. Changing between different networks is very easy and straightforward to do.
Primarily I use the product for work purposes. My work environment is currently remote, therefore, I tend to move between private and public networks pretty often. Having this solution for public networks is key in ensuring that you are staying secure while browsing or using work-related software or services. While working from home, people tend to travel and never realize that public networks are very insecure and they allow hackers to access information from your computer very easily, especially if you don't have a VPN service.
I work from home primarily, however, in a multi-unit complex. I often worry about internet security. From time to time, I also work from a coffee shop and that's when I really lean on Perimeter 81. It's definitely nice to know that no matter where I am I can use Perimeter 81 to make my connection more secure. Sometimes there is sensitive information or documents I work with and this extra layer of protection gives me a lot of peace of mind while I'm working (though I still tend to only work from home in those cases).
I use Perimeter 81 mostly for remote work. I work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment overseeing a team of about four or five people who regularly need urgent assistance. I also host group meetings that require me to use other applications that need a VPN. Perimeter 81 has helped me stay connected right around the clock with almost no need for IT app support each day. Dealing with clients online requires good VPN hosting, and Perimeter 81 has provided that
The solution provides access to our own environments. Our environments are usually restricted by IP from external access, so I cannot access it from a regular internet connection. I can with this product. We also have a system in place that allows us to access to our own SSO login for our customer environments, without having to use individual logins for all of our customers. By doing so, we protect our customer environments from external public access, which is vital to our customers - especially in the onboarding phase of the lifecycle.
We are using Perimeter 81 for secure network connections while working remotely. As my entire team is working remotely, we were looking for a simple and secure remote access solution and we went with Perimeter 81. So far, we have been super happy with Perimeter 81’s affordable and simple to manage solution. We initially started to use Perimeter 81 for their networking features but recently we integrated their split-tunneling feature and their simple Google Authenticator two-factor authentication integration. Both features have been game-changers for us.
