I have been using Sage Intacct for over three years. My main use case for Sage Intacct is mostly managing accounts payable. Specifically in Sage Intacct, I process payments, post the bills, and maintain the bills from accounts payable. We generate some reports and stage the data in Oracle. I use an accounts payable automation called Tipalti and sync the bills from Tipalti into Sage Intacct. From there I process the bills and payments that are synced into Sage Intacct.
My main use case for Sage Intacct includes advanced consolidations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, user management, company administration, reporting, and fixed assets. For advanced consolidations, we consolidate our books for 28 consolidating entities at month-end; these entities monitor subsidiary income impact, from which we utilize to draft reporting for key stakeholders and help with budgeting and forecasting for our FP&A teams.

In my previous organization, we used Sage Intacct majorly for not-for-profit organizations, and apart from that, we used to perform grant accounting to maintain the AP, AR, accounting, financials, and other accounting-related functions. We also used it for the financial and budgeting modules. We performed implementation works, dashboard creation, dashboard setup, and report creation setup. We used it extensively and appreciated Sage Intacct greatly. A specific example of how we used Sage Intacct for grant accounting involved a large NGO firm or not-for-profit organization that lent its SSN number to another not-for-profit because in the US, there is a significant procedure for obtaining an SSN number or an EIN number for these not-for-profits, and maintaining grant accounting is difficult. This large not-for-profit lent its SSN number and maintained accounting for small entities and small not-for-profits. It was an accounting function of an accounting firm, and that demonstrates how extensively we used it.
My main use case for Sage Intacct involves setting up customers with Sage Intacct. I primarily focus on the construction space. Sage Intacct is an open API and can easily owrk with many different integrations,
My main use case for Sage Intacct is working for a nonprofit organization in the US, and in my daily work, I record all the entries, data, all the accounting tools, and make financial reports from Sage Intacct and take various reports from that. A quick specific example of how I use Sage Intacct for my nonprofit organization is that I regularly handle monthly entries for insurance, taxes, and more. Moreover, I post the invoices and make those payments from Sage Intacct and record those particular entries. The main usage of Sage Intacct is for journal entries, such as for taxes, insurance, and daily invoice processing for vendor day-to-day transactions. We render a service, so for that, I just have to book an entry in which I'll attach the invoice and process the payment from Sage Intacct.

We used the solution for a nonprofit, which was a pretty robust implementation there. Nonprofits are unique compared to for-profit companies. They have their own accounting needs, so the stage is unique because it uses dimensions. To categorize different expenses in multiple different ways.

I work as an implementation consultant, where my role involves configuring and supporting users in adopting an ERP system. In this capacity, I assist businesses in setting up, customizing, and training their staff to use the system effectively. Within this ERP system, businesses conduct daily financial transactions, including those with customers and vendors. These transactions are recorded in the system, and it facilitates the generation of reports for various time periods, such as monthly, annually, or over several years, providing insights into their financial performance which is what I use Sage Intacct for.

It is an accounting software used for accounting purposes but has many more features. We can use the solution for reporting. There are standard and custom reports. The tool also provides interactive reports. The dashboard shows our key performance indicators.
We have services groups, smaller healthcare clinics, data providers, warehousing and distribution, home goods internet retailers, and other clients that are using Intacct. The implementation team is critical - as always - so we make sure we maintain a close relationship with top Intacct channel partners. One of the tougher assignments was a franchise restaurant with 40 locations throughout the US/Canada/Caribbean. POS (point of sale) and credit card processing went through a system maintained by the franchisor and reporting back to the individual stores took a couple of days to reconcile, as it was combining 40 different store-level reports (which was a pain). Intacct's cloud-based connectivity worked best to replicate the data flows so both the corporate franchisor got their data and the franchisee had overnight reporting broken down by hourly totals. It was an integration we would not have wanted to tackle on a more proprietary system.

We use it as backups for accounting software, for salary schedules, and to determine EMP that we pay over to individuals. From the accounting side, it helps to determine VAT calculations and income tax. That was the main competencies that were required from that side.
