We use it primarily in the coal industry for tournament auctions, implementing six modules. Previously, we were on Oracle DB, and five years ago, we migrated to SAP HANA DB through the cloud. We are now planning to migrate to SAP S/4HANA.
The goal is to transition to the cloud due to cost considerations. The idea is to centralize operations and infrastructure to streamline development, quality, and production environments, leveraging the cloud in countries where the configurations are similar. The transition to the cloud will significantly reduce hardware maintenance costs. As part of this initiative, we've established a global partnership with Accenture to optimize maintenance costs and cut them in half when we shift to cloud environments. It's important to emphasize that coordination with each country is vital to ensure a smooth transition, as transitioning independently in different environments can lead to complications. In this context, our technology division is collaborating with a third-party provider to implement Microsoft solutions effectively.

We have a wide range of use cases for SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud. These include production planning, materials management, sales management, treasury, finance, appliance maintenance, real estate, and warehouse management. Additionally, we also implement safety management.
Our company is a service, build, and innovation partner for SAP in India. We built one of the SAP modules in India. We have a big presence in Singapore and are looking toward clients in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. We use the solution for business verticals like dairy where we focus on logistics, arrays, and modules for manufacturing. We do a lot of automations so we focus on the IT infrastructure itself. We have moved our focus from the traditional SAP modules to SAP BTP because we are helping customers to do digital transformations. It is the happening module at this point in time. A majority of our use cases are enterprise customers. Mid-sized businesses are about 20% to 30% of our customer base. We have started working with small or regional companies in India, Singapore, and Malaysia that are specifically in the dairy sector. Internally, we use the solution's sandbox to build POCs. Junior developers can play around with the solution's tools in our in-house creator. We have a hybrid environment where the training module and POCs are on a physical infrastructure within our office and a few modules like MMSD are on the cloud.
Our company uses the solution's PDPO manufacturing function for controlling and monitoring the ECMs master material data for MRT planning and exclusions. We currently have more than 300 users across IT, development, software purchasing, research and development, the warehouse, and sales.

I have an analytics background and I perform work for my clients using this product. There are many use case for HANA cloud, One of them is a type of Data Mart, and my clients use it when they don't want to invest in a complete data warehousing solution. A data warehouse would be expensive, and using this product will offer them that type of functionality. For example, if there are customers and they only have a requirement for few reports, they don't have to invest in bigger data warehouse products like SAP BW. That would be a considerable and expensive investment. Instead, the SAP HANA Cloud would be a better choice because since it is much cheaper than the other options. Please note it is not replacement for BW or any data warehouse.

Similar to Google and AWS platforms, SAP has its own cloud and we use it for deploying ERP systems on top of the cloud. Most of our clients need to move to the cloud with preconfigured items. Our specialization is the migration of the entire SAP ERP on-premise solutions to the Cloud.
