We are forced to purchase space in Acronis' private cloud, which is expensive. When you clean the registry, the tool no longer recognizes things like drives. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is not an easy product to manage. Cloud solutions nowadays should allow customers to use everything, not just their private cloud service. You cannot do just a cloud backup because it would be a second copy. When you choose to do a cloud backup, you have to do a backup on a physical local drive anyway. It's not that you can do just the cloud backup.

Advanced backup is an area with certain shortcomings where improvements are required. The number of applications is limited for advanced backup. The tool should provide more application-based backup or applications, which will be an advantage when compared to other backup products. Acronis only provides EDR for Windows-branded systems. If the tool can provide EDR for Mac OS, it would be better. At the moment, Cyber Protect provides various and diverse features. I would like to see XDR in the tool. Now, the product provides EDR with antivirus features. If the tool can provide XDR functionalities, it would be better.
On the client-side, the antivirus engine was slowing down their finance server terribly. It seems the client was identifying Windows Defender as an administrator and trying to scan it while people were working. If they can improve that, they'll have a better product and a better experience for end users. At this stage, I think they have a complete service with backup, antivirus, and patch management. I wouldn't add anything extra now, but I suggest more testing in all scenarios to improve product quality.
It's not 100% trouble-free, but we haven't had major issues. Sometimes there might be a patch or an update needed for the data center, but the updates are provided quickly, so the server support is good. So, we've had some troubles with the data center. We haven't tried the disaster recovery feature yet, and I'm not sure about their backup support. We were very comfortable with AXA. Their secondary backup was done on tape. We're still figuring out how easy it would be to do that with Acronis. Sometimes, we try to implement newer technologies, and there are challenges.
There's always room for improvement. However, I follow Acronis's announcements closely. They've already released MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Advanced EDR, and announced XDR and security awareness training for end-users. So, Acronis actively improves the product. Moreover, I keep submitting a request for more flexible reporting. I'd like to create custom reports in my own way, rather than just combining the pre-defined modules.

The shortcomings in the solution can be overcome if the product improves in the area of completion time so that the restoration process does not take much time. In general, think that the completion time should be improved in relation to the data so that less time is needed to restore the data. The product already has some security features present in the solution, and I expect them to be made a part of the package offered by Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, for which the prices may be increased, and they should not be just given as an add-on option for a user to choose. Either the product should be secured and protected, or it should be protected. From an improvement perspective, I feel that it would be better if the security features were offered as an inbuilt feature in the product and not as a part of an add-on offered with licenses.

It would be better if the price of the solution was improved for medium-sized businesses. Moreover, the email security should be improved. We are awaiting new updates on the product.
Acronis may claim it's due to security reasons, but I believe there should be an option to delete specific files from old backups stored on the Acronis Cloud. Currently, there is no such feature, and I strongly feel the need for a deletion option for erroneous backups.

The pricing policies could be improved. So in future releases of the product, I would like to see better pricing, primarily. In the future releases, it would be great to have system protection and vulnerability assessment as additional features.
It is challenging to manage workstation backup using ACI platform. They should improve this particular area. Along with this, its mailbox migration feature needs improvement as well. It is difficult to move the data from one application to another. It could be more user-friendly.
The agent stability needs improvement. We deal with a lot of agents, and the biggest thing is the agent going offline on the portal. That is one of our biggest things. That means we have to go contact the customer and get access. Once we log on, then try and fix something that is broken, for example, if the internet services wouldn't start, we need the agent to be more stable. Right now, the jobs are not starting. You're telling it to start, yet nothing happens. One additional feature that I would love to see inside the cloud is the ability to recover media. We'd like it to be so that you can do the restore from the portal and not through a GUI on a physical machine since a physical machine restore requires you to physically be at the machine to do that store. We basically are an MSP, so if we're on the one side of the country and if a machine breaks on the other side, we need to try and figure out, "Okay, how do we fix that machine?" You can't do it remotely - it's too far. We have to travel 2000 kilometers just to get to the other side to fix that machine. So if there was some sort of remote capability on their boot media, recovery media, that would be absolutely amazing. The reporting could be better.
I don't have any specific issues with the solution. The product could always be cheaper. We'd like to see more integration for Nutanix, Oracle, et cetera.
They could improve the detection rates of the antivirus. It would be ideal if they improved EDR features. We'd like to see more DLP, data loss prevention.

There are some compatibility issues that could be improved. For example, all versions before Linux SUSE 10 cannot always be backed up. However, I have only encountered this issue one to three percent of the time as many issues have already been addressed by Acronis.

It will be good if Acronis can provide more documentation and videos describing how to do different things. Their documentation is good, but it is without examples. They don't have lots of videos. They should put more videos on YouTube to show how to set up certain things, how to restore, and how to back up. They should provide step-by-step documentation and videos for specific scenarios. I would like them to improve the command line feature. The command line is not working smoothly, and there is some problem with it. If the command line is improved, it will take the product to the next level. It would be great if it can back up data from storage so that people are able to back up old data. Such a feature will make it an enterprise solution for a full backup.

I don't see any room for improvement in the solution itself, but their marketing could be better. Dealers and customers aren't aware of this product or the company, so maybe they should concentrate more on marketing. Technically there is no other criticism from my side.
In the solution, you have the customization option for reports but it is limited and should allow more customizations in terms of how long or when you can do the reports.
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud unifies backup, anti-malware, antivirus and endpoint management capabilities (such as vulnerability assessments, patch management, remote access and monitoring, etc.) in one integrated, easy-to-use solution designed for service providers. All your infrastructure is managed through a single console and you need just one agent on an endpoint to take advantage of all capabilities. The unique integration enables service providers to reduce complexity and make security...

The platform's interface could be user-friendly.
The solution should increase its security features. After endpoint protection, they say it has VDR capability, but I don't think so.
I faced some problems with the solution's local sign-in part.
