Amazon WorkSpaces is a little different from a laptop or a normal computer that you have. When we configured our workspace and some people tried to install the programming language Python, they couldn't. Downloading a software solution from the internet and installing it wasn't so easy, and they had to do some additional configurations inside Amazon WorkSpaces to install external software. You cannot install external applications without doing some additional configurations inside the solution as opposed to your normal desktop or laptop. Also, deleting and creating a workspace sometimes takes a few minutes with the solution, and it would be good if they could speed that up.
One area that can be improved is the ability to install third-party apps. Currently, it's not possible to install any app that I have created on Amazon WorkSpaces. I've tried, but I couldn't install it. So, third-party apps are a limitation. In future releases, I would like to see the ability to install third-party apps would be a significant improvement. It would make WorkSpaces more versatile and configurable.
Regarding the improvements needed in the solution, I would say that it is a little complex to configure. But I don't find that complexity since I've been working for a long time. Also, the solution is better than other options in the market. There can be betterment in the solution if they allow concurrent users to operate the solution. Currently, the solution doesn't provide such a feature. It would be great to see such a feature in the next release.

The speed and performance are not always the greatest. It can be improved. Video and audio conferencing are areas that need to be improved. When you're using it on a laptop for conferencing, you need to enhance the video. This is because you cannot do video conferencing on an Amazon WorkSpace. Rather, you're on a different laptop and dialing into it. Overall performance and video conferencing platforms, whether it's WebEx, Teams, or Skype, all need improvement.
Amazon WorkSpaces is a fully managed desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) solution provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). It allows users to access a virtual desktop environment in the cloud from various devices, including laptops, tablets, and thin clients.

There is always scope of improvement in the stability.
Configuration was a bit complicated at first but manageable. In future releases, I would like to see more user-friendly administrator controls.
The product needs to improve its pricing. It should also improve corporate identity management and single sign-on.

The solution's features for the hardware version work slowly for Windows machines. They should make regularisations to improve this particular area.

An area that could be improved is it could work better on VPN. On VPN, it gets some issues, and frequent disconnections happen.
If they had a cheaper option for graphics pro, I think that it would be beneficial and I would use it.
