AppDynamics and the other APM products are really, really much further than other products. So, with this perspective, there are some minor enhancements that can be made, but for the major sites, there is no negative impact or any alternative application. For example, some cosmetic enhancements. We live in Turkey, so we have our currency, we have some number formats, or something like that. Sometimes, we can face issues getting the business metric and using or calculating it because of this format or some locality issue. So, I’m specifically talking about this kind of enhancement to enhance its localization capabilities.
We'd like to see features that could support IBM's Integration Bus. AppDynamics is unable to provide the details for all the flows in the system transaction flow. That component needs work. The initial setup is a bit complex. It was quite expensive.

Application Analytics' performance in pure and native cloud environments could be improved. It could also be more intuitive to use, especially regarding business IQ functionality, and the dashboard programming needs some manual intrusion. In the next release, I would like to see better integration with OpenTelemetry.
AppDynamics is very expensive, if it were a little cheaper it would be more attractive to clients. The company has decided not to add any new features to the on-prem version which affects our monitoring work. Because of the nature of our business, we can only deploy the solution on-prem and so we're now at a disadvantage.

This feature needs to be properly described to a client, and then the client needs to have a use case. There are some clients which do not need it and some clients who do. It is not for everyone and is dependant on their use case.

I think what AppDynamics is doing is a good way forward. They are currently investing in situations and environments, where clients use exclusively IT. In the past, it was only possible to monitor Java applications, .net applications, and the like, but they now have a particular agent for the SAP environment and that is a good thing. It's a highly automated solution but still requires a few manual tweaks. I don't think that can be changed because every business to a certain extent is different.

The user experience is quite confusing. There are too many different development stages. The UI is not very intuitive. The solution can be improved with more AI as well as more automatic warnings and updates.
Application Analytics refers to the real-time analysis and visualization of automatically collected and correlated data to get insights into IT operations, customer experience and business outcomes. With this next generation of IT operations analytics platform, IT and business users are empowered to quickly answer more meaningful questions than ever before, all in real-time.

One thing that could be improved is the user interface. Things could be more intuitive.
