At this moment, we are moving all of these features to the web, which makes it easier to use in a browser. It can be improved because Architect and Designer are the core models of the suite, where you design your processes, your data, your applications, and so on. From this base, you have other features to implement improvements. For instance, to improve a process, we have a specific model, the simulation module, where we can create different scenarios and show the customer the benefits of each. But Architect and Designer are just tools to capture and administer the method, the filters, the templates, and so on. This is important, but for me, it's not enough to bring value to the customer. We need to identify improvements, implement them, and demonstrate the benefits. We need to control the benefits. Thus, the main area for improvement means bridging the gap between creating process models and actually realizing tangible benefits from process optimization. In future releases, I would like to see more features around AI.
I am not satisfied with the solution. The product is not flexible. There are some issues in exporting the data. It is very hard. Importing from other formats is also very hard. Once we work with ARIS, we are stuck with it. We cannot switch to a different solution because migration is very hard. Also, the UI is not the best. The tool must allow users to export data into different formats, especially common ones. Sometimes, we need to export it to Word files.

The simulation part still has some way to go. It's a good feature, and it's something that other vendors don't have right now, but it can still be improved. Some features are needed in ARIS Architect, so advanced users can do things through drag-and-drop functionality. There is still some coding needed for some of this. I'm still trying to understand the process mining capabilities, and they are improving, but they still need some work in the context of the on-premises product.

This product could be improved by lowering the licensing cost. More organizations could use ARIS if they slashed the licensing costs even a little bit. An additional feature I would like to see is ARIS making a certain feature available to all clients. ARIS Enterprise offers a feature that provides a bridge for process mining. If this feature were available in for small clients and small enterprises who use ARIS Basic and ARIS Advanced, it would be helpful for them. If possible, I would like to see all the features of ARIS Enterprise available to ARIS Advanced or ARIS Basic.

ARIS is quite a good tool for simplification. There is one necessary feature that's missing and it is a pity that it's not a built-in feature of the software — It's in a different product. You can have a collaboration feature, but it's necessary to have ARIS Connect which is a separate, costly product. For example, with Blueworks, collaboration is built-in, as a feature of the software. You can take a link or hyperlink of the model and the design, send it to someone who has some decision authority and collaborate. With ARIS, this collaboration feature is not built-in. It's located in different software which is also an AG product, but it comes with an additional cost.
ARIS is the market-leading solution for professional business process management and modeling. Whether you want to document the "as-is" state of your operations for quality or certification reasons or design the "to-be" in terms of continuous improvement in your transformation program, ARIS is the best choice for establishing a single source of truth regarding all process excellence topics in your organization. It is for any organization looking to digitally transform their business,...
Even with a formal modeling language, users can still draw freely and make a bit of a mess in your repository. It should also improve usability.

Support needs to be improved. The support team takes a long time to respond to our queries.
We face problems when the product's capacity is increased.
