Bitdefender needs to probably position this product and create more awareness among people because a lot of companies use products like CrowdStrike, which is doing pretty well out here. It's just that the marketing team probably has to get involved, get better distributors, and conduct some roadshows. Updates are fine, but the distributors or partners have to put in a good word because the product is good. They have to sell it to your clients. And with so many competitive products today, customers are confused.

The challenging part is all the other work that needs to be done. When customers buy these solutions, there's an assessment done to scope their entire attack surface. Then, they'll come back to the customer and say, "Hey, your Active Directory is out of whack. Your policies in Office 365 are questionable. Here are the critical issues we see that need to be addressed immediately. You also don't have any endpoint protection, or your current solution isn't strong enough." They'll highlight the issues to the customer, but they won't make specific product recommendations for the customer to buy. Moreover, integration capabilities are not as rich as other tools like CrowdStrike's. Bitdefender wasn't as feature-rich in that aspect. There were some partners that we could use for easy integration, and Bitdefender could do custom integrations for the customer, but that typically comes at an additional cost. Bitdefender's claim to fame is that their products are used by many other security companies. That's the main point I can lean on. Other vendors out there are much more feature-rich and user-friendly in terms of integrating with existing toolsets through their MDR portal. An MDR is essentially a management tool for your other security tools, or it brings its own suite of tools to manage your security. Falcon Complete offers more features. And one of their biggest advantages is their integration capabilities. The ease of integration with other tools is a huge plus.
There is always room for improvement since security is an evolving field with new threats emerging. Bitdefender's approach is up to the mark and pretty decent, incorporating next-generation security features and technologies. However, for improvements, focusing on the commercial viability of markets like India could make it more accessible. The pricing structure, especially for price-sensitive markets like those in Asian countries. Making MDR services more competitively priced could encourage wider adoption. Asian countries are very price-sensitive customers. They want to go for MDR service but without investing much. If the price is not aggressive, then definitely more people can board for MDR.

The automatic backup isn't very big. The service for the product is only handled by the local supplier instead of the main company. Its customization maybe could be a bit better. I need to explore it a bit more, however.

They can improve their support a little bit. We've had some issues with some of the installations in terms of getting the installation, configuration, and flows correct, and sometimes, their support is not as simple and easy to deal with as we'd like.
Managed detection and response (MDR) services identify and limit the impact of security incidents within a customer’s environment.
This service leverages 24/7 monitoring, technologies deployed at the host and network layers, advanced analytics, threat intelligence, and human expertise in incident investigation to remove threat actors from customer environments.
Bitdefender should improve integration with Outlook and mobile phones. The lack of integration with Microsoft Outlook is a significant drawback.

Bitdefender is not recognized by clients in Africa. It could improve its tool and its support to be known by clients.
Bitdefender MDR consumes too many resources during scanning which further affects developers' productivity.

We need more updates as there are always more threats coming.
