The main limitation of CloudIQ is that it is intended to be used exclusively with Dell hardware. If you have a heterogeneous environment, there might be some limitations in coverage since CloudIQ is primarily designed for Dell-based infrastructures.

I observed that legacy systems are not supported. For example, the latest Dell EMC Unity series storage is supported, and the pioneer storage of Dell EMC, VNX unfortunately, is not supported on Dell CloudIQ. Also, we have Connectrix switches that are not supported as well with running FOS 7.4.xx versions but Dell CloudIQ supports eight and nine-series FOS, and the switch is the latest because I upgraded in December 2022 which is between 7 Series FOS. It was the maximum I could reach and the legacy hardware is not supported on CloudIQ. Hence, supporting legacy systems is an area that can be improved.
In terms of improvement, they should enhance the product range. I would like to be able to add an older VRX solution, for example. They should change the product range. They should also reduce the cost.

It would be even better if it could include information on servers and other hardware components in addition to storage.

CloudIQ doesn't do well in terms of integrating with technologies other than Dell.
PowerScale is the only file system offered and that is limiting.
