The product does not support certain formats. My photographs are HEIC files. I tried uploading it, but it did not work. I don't get the required quality when I upload and download the photographs. The product does not provide a seamless experience. It is not integrated well compared to iOS.
The web interface is a pain to access compared to the Windows application. However, the Windows application doesn't have any of the advanced features of the web interface, like tagging and SafeSearch. The Windows application should have the same features as the web application. The integration of Google Drive with other things could probably be better. The product’s document management and automation features are very limited. If you're a big organization, it will become a big mess very quickly.
There could be some improvements in Google Drive, maybe in terms of user interface or additional features. Considering things like speech recognition or enhanced benefits in Google Cloud could be worth exploring for a better experience.
In Google Drive Enterprise, Google Chrome's interface is currently cloud-based, but I feel it should have some desktop and mobile applications that don't depend so much on the cloud, which might make it faster. The product lacks in the area of documentation. I use tools provided by Microsoft Office, and I feel Google needs to provide some documentation similar to what Microsoft provides to its users.
One thing about Google Drive is that it's not really compatible with Microsoft Drive. For example, if I have Microsoft OneDrive and want to share files in an Excel format, it shows up in my Google Sheets format on Google Drive. It can cause formatting issues between both drives, making it difficult to work with other companies like Microsoft. One more problem I face is that online storage capacity is limited these days. So, if you want more capacity in your cloud, you need to pay for it.

Regarding the applications available on Google Drive Enterprise, specifically products like Google Docs and related offerings, offer a compatibility level that is very good. Some features like transpose are still lacking in the solution for power users. While these products are quite good, transitioning between Microsoft and Google products can be problematic because not all features convert as smoothly as expected.
The free tier of storage is limited, especially regarding the photos. Additionally, there is no editing option available via the mobile application. Hence the solution can be improved by consolidating viewing and editing features on mobile devices and expanding its free storage options.
It would be helpful if there was a synchronization option that would allow me to synchronize folders or emails with my online repository. That way, any new items added to the folder would automatically be uploaded to the solution, without me having to manually upload them.
It works for me quite well now. I do not have any suggestions for the future. It would be ideal if they could offer more GBs for free. Offering 15GBs is too small.
I've used PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools over the years and find it easier to use than Google. Google still has a learning curve you need to get over. I find I have to learn all the ways to do things I know quite easily in Microsoft. The solution is relatively new and takes some time to get used to.

The price of additional storage could be reduced. I have an annual subscription and I'm only using 150GB because of the price. The environment, ecosystem, and elements bundled with the solution are not strong.
The free storage amount should improve in Google Drive Enterprise. They only provide a small amount of storage. In a future release, the UI could improve by making it more modern. Over the last

To some extent, my usage is very limited. Perhaps my experience with it is limited to sharing and storing. There is nothing truly critical that I could share with you to have implemented or included. For the time being, Google Drive meets my needs. Of course, having more storage capacity would improve the experience for anyone working on Google Drive. If they would implement something for people who have been working on Google Drive for so many years, to have an upgraded version or to be upgraded to that capacity or storage, that would be fantastic. That would be extremely beneficial. If there is even a possibility, I haven't downloaded the desktop version to see if it has the same features as the web version. But, in general, if you can set permissions on specific folders and then give people access to them, you can keep track of who is doing what. Perhaps visibility and permissions for a functionality. In the next release, I would like to have more functionality for other users to visit my Google Drive Account.

I do see some synchronization issues at times where the documents that are uploaded more recently won't show up on other devices immediately. Or sometimes it may show some corruption. Then, you may want to re-sync it if the WiFi connection is temporarily unavailable in such situations. Otherwise, it does its job pretty well. It may not scale up to an enterprise level. I'd like some UI enhancements for an even better user experience. That's something that I would like to see.

Google Drive Enterprise could improve the integrations. We do not use the tool very much for our corporate desktops. Additionally, Google collects a lot of personal data from the customers which is not very good and this is one of the reasons we do not use it for our corporation. In a future release, the solution should be able to integrate better with Microsoft solutions, such as Outlook, Teams, and Office.
It's not easy to make sure you have enough space on Google Drive. I have to connect to the web application to check if I need more space. I would like it if you could right-click on Google Drive locally to see the available space. Google should also make it simpler to manage rights and access for different users. I want to share one folder with some people and another with other groups. It's not easy to manage. You have to use Google's web interface to assign rights, but IBM Box lets you permissions directly on the Windows interface. I would also like to synchronize my notes on my tablet with Google Drive. I don't know if it's possible to manage the synchronization between my personal account for my tablet on Google Drive. When I connect the solution to the cloud, the synchronization is costly, and the account size is small. I want to synchronize it with these types of solutions. You have a simple electronic device to write some notes on, and I want to synchronize with the cloud as a document, PDF, etc.

Microsoft Teams has a lot more features than Google. Google Meet allows you to collaborate by drawing on a whiteboard while talking in the meeting, however it is primitive and not user friendly as it is a bit challenging to try to demonstrate using the whiteboard.
The feature for synchronization of data from multiple systems with the same single ID is not happening in Google Drive. This feature should be added. For example, if I have only one single mail ID and I'm using it in a different location to upload different data, this is the challenge. It is happening from one system or one server. The synchronization of data from the local system to Google Drive will not happen if the IDs are the same. If I'm using it for different systems in different locations, synchronization is not happening. The system hets logged out. This feature is very important for us and they need to add it. One location I can synchronize but multiple locations with the same ID, will not work. In a future release, they could make the solution more user-friendly.

The solution could improve User Access Management by showing more detailed information of which users have access to folders or files. For example, you can see which users have access one by one, but there is not a dashboard that can show what user has access to a library document.

The service could be improved if it could do more customization, because the model inside is pre-defined and there is no customization. I'd also like to see an extension of the packages because the first two packages have minimal space. The next release should have more customization and more storage for the packages.
The ability to share documents with outside clients can be improved. It is difficult to share documents with outside clients, and that's why I am looking at some other solution. If you use Google Drive, they want you to use all of their Google Suite, but not everybody uses Google Suite for document creation. It is not a great solution if you are working with a company that doesn't use Google Suite.

In my job, we don't have any special challenges using Google Drive. We use it easily, however, we only use it personally and to share our documents. We have never used, for example, Google Workspace and other products. In the free version, managing the files and folders and data is a little difficult. It is a bit improved in the Workspace version, however, I have never tried it. That's one of our main challenges when it comes to using Google Drive - managing the files and access. For example, somebody could just access it to view it, or somebody could access for editing in both cases without permission, and that's our challenge right now. Once you move off of the free version and go to the enterprise solution, it can get quite pricey.
I don't know if it's already available, however, being able to set a period for which files can be available to people you share them with before the permissions disappear would be quite helpful. A separate interface to give users a summary of how they've shared items on the drive would be useful. You can end up having a lot of stuff and the sheer amount can end up making users feel a little bit lost in terms of knowing who they've actually shared items with.

In a more general way and for our purposes, I would say having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement. There are obviously controls already in the product for sharing and restrictions, but they could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions. Also, some of the features within Sheets could be enhanced. It is meant to be a replacement to Excel, but it really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality. Aside from those few things, there is really not too much that I think needs to be added to the product to improve it. It is quite a simple product and that is kind of the beauty of it. There is not too much more that you could add to it that would really help and might just complicate it instead. I think it is quite a mature, simple, good solution.

I don't really see anything that needs to improve. I am not a very heavy user so I haven't had any issues with it. I think it does okay for the basics, for storing and saving files. Perhaps the security of files can be better.
Drive Enterprise enables you to transform how your business stores, accesses, and secures files, all without extensive change management. Drive Enterprise is a standalone offering with usage-based pricing that includes all the features of Drive.
Google Drive Enterprise is expensive. Google Sheets APIs need improvement.
