Trend Vision One offers good integration across email, network, and cloud workloads, but it currently lacks a dedicated data security feature. While it provides some data protection within its security framework, it doesn't allow users to customize policies or create their own for specific needs. If Trend Micro could integrate a customizable data security solution into Vision One's endpoint security offerings, it would create a one-stop shop for both endpoint and data protection. The stability has room for improvement.

The licensing model could be improved. To gain full coverage, you need to spend more to buy subscriptions for each kind of service they offer. It will start to be pricey if you want full coverage.
The workbook insights generate a massive list, making it inconvenient to review. Ideally, we could easily filter or view items by selecting multiple lines and marking them as false positives. Unfortunately, the current process requires manually clicking on each item, opening Trend, and then closing it again.
Securing S3 using Cloud One can cost too much. Cloud One has a tool that requires lots of privileges. From my understanding, it's only for static application testing, so they need to add dynamic application testing, and there should be more collaboration with the application testing tools on the market. We have not used this product, and I don't know if they plan to decommission it or something. They should focus on application security because this tool's unique feature is multi-cloud support. However, they should improve integration with tools for these kinds of use cases, especially application security and dynamic scanning. For example, I would like it to support Dell SecureOps. I'd also like to see some enhancements to API gateway security.

Documentation on cloud architecture and job architecture would be helpful. It would also be enlightening to know what security context we get. Trend Micro is a really good product overall, including Cloud One. However, their authorization and authentication could be improved. They have too many different ways to log in to their tools, which can be confusing. It would be better if they had just one or two ways to log in.

They should provide a way for users to see violations for specific compliance. Suppose I focus on SOC 2 or PCI compliance. If I see an alert that tells me the exact details of the control for the compliance I'm violating, I can prioritize the remediation of the issue and ensure that the systems are compliant. I'll be able to provide evidence to the auditors accordingly.

It is a recently launched product, and they need to consider the pricing. There are also some loopholes because it's a new product that they have recently migrated to the cloud. We do see some issues with the policies we have assigned when it comes to a particular account. There are some issues with system support, such as a particular server kernel version that is not supported. When we contact them, they share it with their developers, and they are able to sort it out, but not that quickly. It takes research and investigation.
One area for improvement in Trend Micro Cloud One Container Security is marketing; in particular, Trend Micro should update the marketing documentation. Sometimes, I have questions, or customers have questions, but finding the answers in the documentation can be challenging. The information needs to be more comprehensive. It would also be better if there's custom documentation about Trend Micro Cloud One Container Security that contains answers to questions that could arise from clients. As for additional features I want added to Trend Micro Cloud One Container Security, I have none for now because I'm satisfied with the solution. Even my clients like it.
The licensing could be made easier to understand. As it stands, it is a bit convoluted and you need to invest a solid amount of time to understand the licensing for the base service and also for every single additional component that you are using. You need to count how many hours per month are free, how many serverless containers are free, how much of counted traffic is free, and then pay after that. In other words, you need to prepare yourself really well before you even start your journey with this product.
Trend Vision One- Cloud Security Security provides comprehensive cloud security, threat protection, and compliance monitoring. Users commend its advanced features, ease of use, and strong performance in keeping digital assets safe. The platform improves efficiency and productivity for organizations while offering excellent customer support.
The solution should include more integrations and a universal connector with other firewalls for SNMP protocols.
I'd like to see mobile licenses included in the main license, similar to Kaspersky's model for future features.

The alerts need improvement, and the solution needs to be more flexible.
The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent.
