As a user of HVR Software I followed this deal closely. Fivetran is apparently trying to establish more in its sector and by buying an already established data replication software, they become some steps ahead of their competitors. Can't tell you what exactly will change but I can give you my best bet. I think both companies will put effort to attract more customers, providing their solutions, and promoting one another. Maybe the pricing will change? I guess they'll definitely implement some new things and try to connect with each other more. From my experience with HVR, it gives you quality service. I hope after the merge, it continues this way.

My guess is, that they'll continue their line of work except they'll now promote each others' companies and solutions to clients. I think Fivetran did this so they didn't have to build their own data replication software from scratch and take the time to establish on the market. And it's a smart buy, HVR is very good among its competitors.
