I have come across information that ServiceNow is changing the way it charges its customers and a new charge is being introduced.
Any customers having heavy customization to core ServiceNow objects may have to cough up additional charges for touching those core objects.
I frankly find this a bit ridiculous. Any customer hires expert resources and spends time, effort and money to customize a given product to suit their own organization because no product meets ALL expectation of ALL businesses.
If a vendor charges extra to solve problems faced in such customized part, I can understand since it is not part of standard product. But why should one pay a vendor just because we are touching something in the system - by spending our own money already.
Is this understanding correct?
