In Kubernetes, when traffic goes out of a pod, it has to have its own IP address. Every service that's going out requires another IP. But with OpenShift, you don't have to deal with any of those IPs because they use NAT.
Azure Red Hat OpenShift offers a stable and secure environment with automatic scaling and excellent integration with AKS, Kubernetes, and EKS. It eliminates the need to manage IPs for outbound traffic using NAT. The solution provides reliable support from Red Hat and Microsoft and includes robust migration tools. However, it can be expensive, and improvements are needed in automation, core licensing, and support, while orchestration may not match Kubernetes standards.
