In Kubernetes, when traffic goes out of a pod, it has to have its own IP address. Every service that's going out requires another IP. But with OpenShift, you don't have to deal with any of those IPs because they use NAT.
Azure Red Hat OpenShift simplifies Kubernetes pod management with NAT and supports AKS, Kubernetes, and EKS integration for enhanced cloud operations. It offers automatic scaling and valued security tools but faces challenges with cost, licensing, and support improvements. The scalability rates an eight out of ten, yet automation and orchestration need enhancement. The platform is ideal for those prioritizing integration and scalability but should consider cost and support limitations.
