Stable hotel networking enhances return on investment with valuable modular features
There are issues with the distribution side of Aruba Switches. For instance, the distributor in our country cannot sell to neighboring countries, creating complications in project execution. Improving the distribution network across regions would be beneficial. Also, the SFP modules are significantly more expensive than industry peers, which affects cost-effectiveness.

"We like that it is very easy to manage the product through the cloud."
"This is a very stable product with good performance."
"We have not had any issues with the product and its functions. It has been stable."
"I like the number of available throughputs and its ability to have different speeds of ethernet cards or fiber-optic SFPs. It's a core switch, and you can configure it as per your requirements. All the configuration details are well documented on the HP website or Aruba website, and one can easily refer to those and find all the relevant commands from the documentation itself. It's also easy to maintain this solution. It's also cheaper than competing products."
"We can scale as needed."
"The advantage I found is that they can be used as both on-premises devices and cloud-managed devices, with the option for an additional license to become cloud devices. This flexibility is very valuable to us."
"The solution is easy to use and quick to deploy."
"The most valuable feature of Huawei is that it already provides integration with any automation tool."
"I use it on a daily basis and I find it to be quite stable."
"Huawei Ethernet Switches offer very competitive and aggressive product pricing compared to other brands."

Cons

"I would like to see easier learning and configuration from previous switch deployments."
"The need to come up with a bit more flexibility in their range of models."
"We don't have visibility in Aruba Switches and we are thinking of switching to Fortiswitch because it has visibility."
"I think that the performance is getting better but they need to have more powerful switches on the market so that they can capture medium and large businesses."
"Technical support response time could be better."
"There is room for improvement in the customer service and support team."
"The interface could be more user-friendly and the dashboard could be improved."
"The tool is not very robust in harsh environments. Issues with cooling and power can cause these switches to fail, which concerns customers. They work well in data centers but might be problematic in places without cooling or heat."
"The solution's marketing could be better. It spends money on marketing but doesn't highlight the most important features. Sometimes, it provides too much information, which can confuse customers."
"The interoperability of the devices, in general, on the Huawei switches is not good and is known to be not good. Maybe they can improve this a bit."

"In the next release, I would like to see an increase in the performance of DDoS protection systems against all kinds of attack packets."
"I didn't like the Huawei Switches because of the different versions resetting the configuration issue. Huawei doesn't support Layer 3 modes while TOE and ARP have some issues."
"It could potentially be difficult to get parts depending on where you live."
