Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product is stable.""I like everything about the entire BPM that comes with the BPM suite.""The best feature is the automation.""Provides an easy way to integrate with the architectural environment.""The Camunda BPMN Platform is very flexible and gives several options to deploy and scale it.""One reason we selected Camunda or Cloud/DB is that it comes with the support of the BPMN notation, which helps to define processes in a standard manner. Another reason was that Camunda Cloud, as the name says, is designed for a new cloud era.""We are documenting all of the processors and VPN. Then we are sharing it with our business users.""Using the BPMN helps us to have a common shared communication language when discussing processes."

"Informatica Business Process Manager is easy to use and learn.""I know that there are two good features, APN and ServiceNow but we haven't explored all of its features yet.""There isn't any human touch involved. It's just an automated business process to build different applications and talking to various APIs using the client's ecosystems. We then build new functionalities out of it."

Cons
"Like all BPM tools, they're very bad with proprietary UIs. In general, anyone who uses BPM tools should not expect to use their proprietary UI.""Documentation can be improved.""The business model could be easier to understand.""The support definitely can be improved. Apart from that, the language should be extendable to other platforms. If I want to write, I'll run a different platform, like Python code on top of it, or COBOL code on top of it, and it should support those languages.""The product does not have a dictionary.""It's costly and not accessible for small enterprises or startups. It would be great if Camunda offered a tier plan for smaller companies.""They have a migration plugin that can be used to migrate from one BPM to another BPM. It is in the beta stage since last year. If they can make it available in the market, it would be great. We are going to have a couple of migration projects for migrating from IBM BPM to Camunda, and this plugin would be useful. I have already discussed this with them two weeks ago and asked them to look into this and add it as a feature. We are expecting this plugin to be available in the next version. This is the only requirement we have at present. They keep on coming up with different features, which is helping us a lot. Its latest release that came out last month was awesome.""The primary issue regarding the Camuto platform is its high cost of training. This is why I haven't discussed it extensively, as compared to other products that are more affordable in terms of developer training."

"We haven't had many technical issues. We don't use all of the components of the tool that are more complex and error-prone.""I need to have some insight into the tool's cloud capabilities."
