Can be well-integrated with the existing systems in a company and is very intuitive to use
I once faced a problem with the tool, but I remember that I managed to work without a VPN, and then the problem with the product was sorted out somehow. An option to connect not only with the username and password but also through SMS in an easy manner is something that needs to be added to the tool. When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive. In other platforms, the user will have two options to connect, one of which is with a username and password, and the other one is with an SMS.

Integrated security features ensure seamless protection and inspire long-term trust
The reason why I went for Sophos SafeGuard is that it's got every function that I would need for an antivirus or system protection, and another thing that Sophos has done that makes it even more important for me is the synchronized security. There is a policy on my firewall that restricts any system that synchronizes with the endpoint working on all my servers and workstations, and if any system is found to be infected, because it synchronizes with the firewall, the rules drop the packet and alert the IT administrator. Until that system is checked and cleaned, there is no internet access for that system, which alone is a game changer for me. Those developers at Sophos are very innovative, and I don't think they need to improve anything because they are thousands of steps ahead. Before I can think of any feature that should be added, it's already there, and all I get is just a notification that this feature is available, to give it a try and let them know if it is something I want to add. You must understand that every feature comes with a price, not for free. The more features I add, the additions are based on the need; if it's not needed, I am not going to add them.

Pros

"Its central management console has really made an impact on our organization."
"It's easily scalable and adaptable to the needs of the business."
"It keeps the devices well monitored."
"The initial setup is easy."
"Its ability to provide a security layer of encryption that allows us to prevent unauthorized access to computers."
"Above all, the possibility of keeping our data safe by placing a unique digital signature for each device we will encrypt, informing us of any unauthorized changes, is one of the most valuable features."
"The solution provides complete security for one's workstation."
"The encryption ensures each of our drives is not invasive and that the user does not have a bad experience even while the drive is being encrypted."
"The malware protection and the scanning features are most valuable in this solution."
"The most valuable feature is encryption control. If you have a laptop, it guarantees that the data is not missing or lost."
"The solution is scalable, we have over 500 staff using it."
"The solution has a great VPN."
"The reporting and file encryption are the solution's most valuable features."
"Sophos SafeGuard has one of the most perfect advantages, which is the data keys for encryption."
"The Intercept X feature is the most valuable feature. You can't find this feature in other firewalls because Intercept X works as if it has an interaction between the endpoint and the firewall."
"The advantage of Sophos SafeGuard stems from the fact that it is more secure than other products in the market."

Cons

"The encryption is fast; however, when it comes to generating decryption of the OS disks, it is sometimes very slow, generating a loss of time."
"I rate the support from Check Point Full Disk Encryption Software Blade a six out of ten."
"The response time for technical support could be faster."
"Sometimes the performance rates are not consistent."
"I would like to bring centralized management to mobile devices."
"The solution is overpriced."
"When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive."
"They should improve the interface and make it a little more user-friendly."
"What would make Sophos SafeGuard better than competitors is if its management console also includes firewall management. In the future, I want Sophos SafeGuard to be more scalable."
"The solution lacks connectivity to Azure AD so it can connect to the regular internal Windows AD server but there's no direct connection to Azure AD."
"Sometimes, when the product has a firmware upgrade, we encounter implementation problems, which can delay the connection and require a reset and reinstallation. It has been a persistent issue with Sophos SafeGuard."
"Pricing is a little more than similar products."
"The Office 360 integration could be improved."
"It's a good product, but some are not happy with the boot BCN, and the point-to-point VPN requires the best protection."
"It would be ideal if the solution had different features within one agent."
"Sophos should conduct some seminars to teach people how to use it and also to inform the users about what they should do in case of problems."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As it costs $125 per workstation per year, something which is above the price of what the competition is charging, the solution is definitely too expensive."
"Pricing for Sophos SafeGuard could be improved because it could reach a thousand dollars depending on the product, edition, and software key purchased."
"It's a software license with a one-time purchase. There are no issues with purchasing, and the vendor is flexible with licensing."
"Licensing is on a yearly basis and the pricing could be better."
"The licensing costs depend on the series. For example, XG 85 can be around $200. If you go to ACC or to a four or five-year enterprise solution, you will find these devices can cost $10,000. It depends on the series."
"We pay around $10 a year for each endpoint, including support."
"Regarding pricing, it's a middle-priced solution. We typically use Sophos SafeGuard with the Sophos firewall, which includes VPN connections. The cost depends on the number of users, with some customers requiring hundreds of connections and others needing around a thousand."
"Licensing for this solution is on a yearly basis."
"I rate the pricing two or three on a scale of one to ten, where one is expensive, and ten is cheap."
