Can be well-integrated with the existing systems in a company and is very intuitive to use
I once faced a problem with the tool, but I remember that I managed to work without a VPN, and then the problem with the product was sorted out somehow. An option to connect not only with the username and password but also through SMS in an easy manner is something that needs to be added to the tool. When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive. In other platforms, the user will have two options to connect, one of which is with a username and password, and the other one is with an SMS.

Integrated security features ensure seamless protection and inspire long-term trust
The reason why I went for Sophos SafeGuard is that it's got every function that I would need for an antivirus or system protection, and another thing that Sophos has done that makes it even more important for me is the synchronized security. There is a policy on my firewall that restricts any system that synchronizes with the endpoint working on all my servers and workstations, and if any system is found to be infected, because it synchronizes with the firewall, the rules drop the packet and alert the IT administrator. Until that system is checked and cleaned, there is no internet access for that system, which alone is a game changer for me. Those developers at Sophos are very innovative, and I don't think they need to improve anything because they are thousands of steps ahead. Before I can think of any feature that should be added, it's already there, and all I get is just a notification that this feature is available, to give it a try and let them know if it is something I want to add. You must understand that every feature comes with a price, not for free. The more features I add, the additions are based on the need; if it's not needed, I am not going to add them.

Pros

"It has addressed storage and data transfer demands efficiently."
"It helps us maximize the operational efficiency and performance of our activities."
"It is a cross-platform tool."
"Above all, the possibility of keeping our data safe by placing a unique digital signature for each device we will encrypt, informing us of any unauthorized changes, is one of the most valuable features."
"We use the solution for endpoint encryption and it handles everything, with security, a firewall within the workstation, and DLP within the solution and on the workstation, making use of 360-degree security on one's workstation."
"The initial setup is easy."
"Encryption prevents data loss which can cost the organization a lot of resources."
"The solution is pretty reliable."
"The monitoring features are easy to use."
"If you purchase Sophos your data and your network will be secured."
"The most valuable feature is the synchronized security. It's a unique feature on the market at this time only offered by Sophos. As a reseller, we often win bids and get clients because of this unique trademark feature."
"We use it to manage BitLocker and find it very easy to set up."
"The solution is valuable as it offers protection against ransomware, with a feature that allows only three files to be encrypted by ransomware before it automatically revokes the process, and it provides one central console to manage file encryption and disk encryption, where I can manage both features and create templates to apply to other customers."
"Integration with other solutions is one of its strongest points. It's very easy to integrate and automate."
"Sophos satisfies a large number of requirements and gives you unified security."
"The reporting and file encryption are the solution's most valuable features."

Cons

"I would like to bring centralized management to mobile devices."
"The tool should be able to recover data from a stolen device."
"In the future, I would like to see is the ability to decrypt equipment."
"The price is high for small scale business enterprises."
"They could improve the latency in the platform when entering the portal."
"The solution is overpriced."
"When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive."
"While the solution works as it should, it is overly expensive."
"Technical support isn't so good; it needs to be improved."
"The cost is rather expensive. It's a pain point for many clients. They should work to see if they can reduce pricing."
"BitLocker comes from the OS license with Windows. It's a free solution. However, Sophos is a product we need to pay for."
"What would make Sophos SafeGuard better than competitors is if its management console also includes firewall management. In the future, I want Sophos SafeGuard to be more scalable."
"The product is not cheap."
"Sophos SafeGuard is a German product. Sophos isn't really active in Europe."
"The dashboards currently lack sufficient information."
"The tutorials need to be simplified. The existing ones need to be easier to follow and we could use some tutorials for basic setups. They should aim to be more like Cisco, which offers very good tutorials and materials."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As it costs $125 per workstation per year, something which is above the price of what the competition is charging, the solution is definitely too expensive."
"There is a need to make annual payments towards the licensing charges attached to the product."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The pricing is good and now they offer three year and five year plans. After that if one lokes the service they can choose the lifetime service."
"The licensing costs depend on the series. For example, XG 85 can be around $200. If you go to ACC or to a four or five-year enterprise solution, you will find these devices can cost $10,000. It depends on the series."
"Regarding pricing, it's a middle-priced solution. We typically use Sophos SafeGuard with the Sophos firewall, which includes VPN connections. The cost depends on the number of users, with some customers requiring hundreds of connections and others needing around a thousand."
"Pricing for Sophos SafeGuard should be transparent. If you want to get support for Sophos SafeGuard, you don't get pricing information about support costs, and in the end, you'll get charged more."
"I rate the pricing two or three on a scale of one to ten, where one is expensive, and ten is cheap."
"I rate Sophos SafeGuard's pricing a five out of ten."
