Can be well-integrated with the existing systems in a company and is very intuitive to use
I once faced a problem with the tool, but I remember that I managed to work without a VPN, and then the problem with the product was sorted out somehow. An option to connect not only with the username and password but also through SMS in an easy manner is something that needs to be added to the tool. When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive. In other platforms, the user will have two options to connect, one of which is with a username and password, and the other one is with an SMS.

Integrated security features ensure seamless protection and inspire long-term trust
The reason why I went for Sophos SafeGuard is that it's got every function that I would need for an antivirus or system protection, and another thing that Sophos has done that makes it even more important for me is the synchronized security. There is a policy on my firewall that restricts any system that synchronizes with the endpoint working on all my servers and workstations, and if any system is found to be infected, because it synchronizes with the firewall, the rules drop the packet and alert the IT administrator. Until that system is checked and cleaned, there is no internet access for that system, which alone is a game changer for me. Those developers at Sophos are very innovative, and I don't think they need to improve anything because they are thousands of steps ahead. Before I can think of any feature that should be added, it's already there, and all I get is just a notification that this feature is available, to give it a try and let them know if it is something I want to add. You must understand that every feature comes with a price, not for free. The more features I add, the additions are based on the need; if it's not needed, I am not going to add them.

"The product's initial setup phase is totally fine."
"Check Point gives us the possibility of reaching each security goal we have and has been a strategic ally for our internal assurance and the security of our information within the organization."
"The solution is pretty reliable."
"Encryption prevents data loss which can cost the organization a lot of resources."
"We haven't had anything related to threats pass through our system in the last five years."
"The encryption ensures each of our drives is not invasive and that the user does not have a bad experience even while the drive is being encrypted."
"Above all, the possibility of keeping our data safe by placing a unique digital signature for each device we will encrypt, informing us of any unauthorized changes, is one of the most valuable features."
"The advantage of Sophos SafeGuard stems from the fact that it is more secure than other products in the market."
"I like the support most of all; in the past we had issues with it, but are now very pleased with it."
"Security-wise, it's one of the best."
"The overall rating for the product is a ten out of ten."
"Integration with other solutions is one of its strongest points. It's very easy to integrate and automate."
"The platform has significantly enhanced our data security posture by ensuring that sensitive information remains encrypted and protected from unauthorized access."
"The most valuable feature is encryption control. If you have a laptop, it guarantees that the data is not missing or lost."
"The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that the GUI is easy to use."

Cons

"There are a few cases of security breaches when the networking system fails and can lead to malware attacks. The next release should focus more on data virtualization and support for all computing devices."
"While the solution works as it should, it is overly expensive."
"Regarding the general topic of support, many have annoyances with it."
"I would like to bring centralized management to mobile devices."
"They could improve the latency in the platform when entering the portal."
"They should improve the interface and make it a little more user-friendly."
"The solution is overpriced."
"The cost of maintaining the system is high for personal use."
"Sophos SafeGuard is a German product. Sophos isn't really active in Europe. The Middle East, Africa, South Africa works with Sophos but their primary users aren't in Europe. They should market and push this solution to the European market."
"The only drawback I see with Sophos SafeGuard is that it lacks a SASE solution, which is a separate product that Sophos does not currently have."
"The solution is not using other features like booting encryption, because it causes very heavy processing of the workstation. If they could find some way to handle the encryption and decryption to be lighter on the workstation it would be better."
"The integration could be a little better."
"Sometimes, multiple updates and crashes happen in the tool, making it an area where improvements are required."
"Sophos SafeGuard cannot block or quarantine such viruses. Quarantine is a feature with shortcomings that needs improvement."
"The security does not have 100% authentication."
"What would make Sophos SafeGuard better than competitors is if its management console also includes firewall management. In the future, I want Sophos SafeGuard to be more scalable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As it costs $125 per workstation per year, something which is above the price of what the competition is charging, the solution is definitely too expensive."
"Licensing for this solution is on a yearly basis."
"The licensing costs depend on the series. For example, XG 85 can be around $200. If you go to ACC or to a four or five-year enterprise solution, you will find these devices can cost $10,000. It depends on the series."
"It's a software license with a one-time purchase. There are no issues with purchasing, and the vendor is flexible with licensing."
"Licensing is on a yearly basis and the pricing could be better."
"I rate Sophos SafeGuard's pricing a five out of ten."
"The licenses are dependant on the number of users and computers you have to protect."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"Regarding pricing, it's a middle-priced solution. We typically use Sophos SafeGuard with the Sophos firewall, which includes VPN connections. The cost depends on the number of users, with some customers requiring hundreds of connections and others needing around a thousand."
