A great solution for managing and monitoring analytics
Our primary use case for this solution is Assurance. It helps us manage and monitor analytics and fix issues such as poor voice quality. We can investigate by fetching reports and real-time alert generation for VoIP infrastructure. For example, suppose there is latency during calls, it can be…

Good integration capabilities, good reliability, and is user-friendly
NOM Platform provides support to monitor and manage SDN Networks like Cisco ACI. It provides configuration changes and tracking over time to add impact on network routing and performance issues. The solution has very powerful APIs to be integrated with other systems to complete the full image to apply ITIL processes. The NOM Module is just a part of the full image portfolio of ITOM that covers network management integrating natively with other Micro Focus modules like UCMDB (Universal Configuration Management Database), which becomes a single point of truth regarding the configuration items. The OBM (Operations Bridge Management) covers the Manager of Managers role. SMAX (Service Manager and Asset Management X) covers the ITSM in the Micro Focus Portfolio.

"Cisco Prime's initial setup is complex."
"It may need a more customizable UI."
"Micro Focus Network Management doesn't support end-to-end monitoring of cloud infrastructure. Micro Focus might have different cloud solutions for cloud automation and hybrid cloud management. There are a lot of products that also support automation. That is different, but it should monitor the cloud from an IT operations management perspective."
