Good capabilities, has a helpful interface and is straightforward to set up
We have asked for a couple of features from the company already. What typically happens is a lot of people - and developers are one of the biggest consumers of this product - go to this product to optimize their investigation process and specific configurations. That increases our data flow at times, so the cost changes. And a lot of changes happen due to that. We have asked the company to auto-revert the changes after a while so that the system works typically. We want it to work at what it is expected to work at and not really based on the updated configuration which one developer has decided to change.

Efficient troubleshooting with precise log filtering and an easy setup
The tool could benefit from improved filter settings and dashboarding. While there are dashboards available, they are often created by community members and may not work after updates. It would be beneficial to have a roadmap for these dashboards to ensure consistent functionality. It would also be advantageous if the tool could process even large amounts of data faster, though this may be more related to data movement challenges rather than the software itself.

"A non-tech person can easily get used to it."
"The best feature of this solution allows us to correlate logs, metrics and traces."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The solution is easy to use and to start with."
"Numerous data monitoring tools are available, but Coralogix somehow fine-tunes our policies and effectively supports our teams."
"The log monitoring is good, and the dashboards that we create are beneficial."
"For now, we have not experienced any stability issues."
"The solution's simplicity, flexibility, and extensibility are valuable features as we can integrate everything in vRealize."
"The interface of the solution is good."
"It is very scalable and can handle a large workload."
"The solution is quite user-friendly."
"The ability to narrow into a specific time to filter heavy hitters and anomalies is extremely valuable."
"The setup and installation are very easy."
"We are using it because we have a VMware product. It has its own built in dashboards for VMware products, and that's a good thing."
"Our current costs are too high, and this tool will help us to better optimize our infrastructure."

Cons

"The user interface is not intuitive, especially when first onboarding, and improvements could be made here."
"The documentation of the tool could be improved"
"We want it to work at what it is expected to work at and not really based on the updated configuration which one developer has decided to change."
"It would be helpful if Coralogix could integrate the main modules that any organization requires into a single subscription."
"From my experience, Coralogix has horrible Terraform providers."
"Maybe they could make it more user-friendly."
"Coralogix should have some AI capabilities to auto-detect anomalies and provide suggestions. The increasing volume of data and the resulting bandwidth charges are concerns."
"The user interface could be more intuitive and explanatory."
"If data migration occurs during a search, it alters performance, causing delays."
"They should improve their web interface to make it more user-friendly."
"The dashboard needs to be improved because this is what I need to monitor my infrastructure."
"The pricing of the solution could be improved."
"The monitoring landscape is getting bigger. When it comes to infrastructure monitoring, we need more visibility. VMware needs to integrate more related applications and third-party products. That would make it more appealing to an audience beyond the VMware team."
"The tool could be cheaper."
"The product's price falls on the higher end of the spectrum, making it an area of concern."
"VMware Aria Operations for Logs is not a cost-effective tool. Additionally, it is expensive, especially given the current economic conditions in Turkey."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Currently, we are at a very minimal cost, which is around $400 per month since we have reduced our usage. Initially, we were at $900 per month."
"The platform has a reasonable cost. I rate the pricing a three out of ten."
"The cost of the solution is per volume of data ingested."
"We are paying roughly $5,000 a month."
"Pricing is good because it is part of the suite package. It comes in a bundle for us."
"I am not sure what the exact cost is. However, I believe the vRealize suite costs $2,500.00 per year."
"It is not cheap. But it is worth it."
"The licensing cost for vRealize Log Insight is a little higher, so in terms of cost, it all depends upon what kind of environment you have. If you have a complete virtualized environment, or at least you're using a ninety-five percent virtualized environment, then vRealize Log Insight will play a very good role because it is a VMware component, so it has very tight integration with other VMware components and systems. This means you don't have to procure any other monitoring and management tool, and you don't need a separate automation tool. vRealize Log Insight will have an upper hand if your environment is purely virtualized on VMware. If you're using a mix of physical and virtual components, for example, a 50:50 ratio, then you need to have a third-party component to manage overall monitoring."
"The pricing has been updated recently."
"The product's price is reasonable, but when it comes to SQL licensing, it's a bit expensive."
"I rate the product's price a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"Pricing could always be lower. If it were free, I would be more satisfied."
