Very good synchronization, good stability and good scalability
There are a few aspects of management that could be improved, however, I don't use them so much. It would be nice to have the solution localized in Europe. Dashlane is an American company. It's controlled by American laws and regulations that allows the American government to have full access to my data with Dashlane. That's why I am leaving Dashlane, because we can't accept such an important function in American control.

Passportal centralizes and securely manages client credentials and sensitive information, enhancing both security and efficiency.
Passportal offers the capability to automatically rotate passwords, allowing users to set customizable policies for expiration dates and password strength. You can define requirements for the number of letters, symbols, numbers, and case sensitivity, and the system will generate passwords accordingly. Policies can be updated as needed to maintain security. As a comprehensive password and information management solution, Passportal supports the addition of assets, licensing details, SSL certificates, domains, articles, and documents. When referring to adding assets, this means documenting relevant information, not monitoring them. For example, when we onboard a new engineer responsible for managing clients, we create a user profile for them in Passportal and grant access to the pertinent client information. This centralized access ensures they have all necessary details in one place, streamlining their workflow.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like the ability to share passwords without them being visible to other team members. The auto-fill capabilities are great too."
"The synchronization is the solution's most valuable feature. It works really well. The ability to have secure notes is also very helpful."
"Dashlane's most valuable feature is Hotspot Shield, the VPN feature that allows you to connect securely to public wifi."
"The integration capabilities have been good."
"The most valuable features of the N-able Passportal are the password rotations, and the ability to be able to store passwords. You can have it on your phone or your desktop. You're not required to have it only on your desktop computer."
"The most valuable feature of the N-able Passportal is its functionality. You can store your passwords safely, and not just anyone can gain access to them. If you have an onsite system, it can change the password for you on a daily basis. This is a great benefit because you don't have to worry about if the account's breached tomorrow, your pass is going to be changed. It's perfect."
"Passportal also helps manage assets. You can add information about your infrastructure, like routers, including model numbers, operating systems, expiration dates, and licensing."

Cons

"There should also be an easier way to be able to transfer user data to other users who have kind of left the company."
"The cost, while decent, of course, could always be less."
"It would be nice to have the solution localized in Europe. Dashlane is an American company. It's controlled by American laws and regulations that allows the American government to have full access to my data with Dashlane. That's why I am leaving Dashlane, because we can't accept such an important function in American control."
"The integration with the VPN feature could be smoother."
"I'd like to see the ability to provide both credential management and documentation management for clients. Currently, they only get access to credential management."
"Sometimes accessing the solution is a bit slow, but that could be due to conditions at many different points. However, some issues that do arise are outside of our control."
"N-able Passportal can improve the stability because sometimes I can't log in. I had some issues a couple of months ago where I couldn't log in and that was problematic."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is a little bit on the expensive side."
"For its value, Passportal's price is affordable."
