I am still working with N-able Passportal, though I am considering closing down the business due to the poor economic environment in this country. Automated password rotation in N-able Passportal is a very nice feature. I have worked with N-able Passportal integration with RMM or PSA tools, and that works quite nicely. When using certain support applications with N-able Passportal, you do not need to remember passwords. They can be pasted directly into the application. For server access with rotating passwords, the system handles it automatically. The reporting functionality and auditing for N-able Passportal is adequate for basic needs, though I cannot comment on its effectiveness for bigger companies. My plans to quit dealing with N-able Passportal are not related to licensing and price, but rather the economic environment. The only concern about N-able Passportal is that it can be somewhat pricey. I serve as both the IT Manager and owner of the business. On a scale of 1-10, I rate N-able Passportal a 10.
For managing credentials and documents, Passportal provides a comprehensive solution that meets all our needs. I would rate it a ten out of ten. It also offers mobile access for both Android and iOS devices, allowing quick access to credentials on the go. Passportal includes several valuable features. When presenting the product to clients, they often need to import extensive information, such as user accounts, documentation, and infrastructure details. Passportal facilitates this with import templates, enabling bulk import of credentials and related data with just a single click, which is highly efficient. Additionally, Passportal supports customizable workflows for alerts and notifications. Users can set up notifications for expiring licenses, password changes, password sharing, and other important events. The platform also provides detailed reporting on assets, credentials, licensing, and more. A crucial feature is its deep audit capability, which tracks all changes and actions taken by users on the portal, ensuring transparency and security when handling sensitive data.
