Provides flexibility for remote work and offers good performance
My company has a product servicing team of 12 people, consisting of network engineers who call themselves network support, and the other teams in my company refer to them as the setup servicing team. Though not all of them manage Google, some of them do it when required. In terms of the manageability benefits offered by the product to my company's team, I would say that there was not much of a learning curve involved when we migrated from Microsoft to Google around two years ago, and it was pretty easy to integrate. I have not utilized Google Chrome's flexibility for remote work. The solution has some good points in terms of scalability and ease of use. However, my company doesn't like the UX component of the product, and it is also one of the reasons why we miss Microsoft Teams. I can recommend the product to others after considering their needs. If a user has more money to invest, they should choose Microsoft. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

Provides BTRFS file system, which allows you to take snapshots
I only use the tool for testing purposes on my team, but multiple people use it. We don't make a team effort to install the solution. When it comes to maintenance, we ask our company to buy SUSE Linux Enterprise. My team consists of 13 people. We are currently integrating the solution with Ansible to do some coding. Although not a full-fledged automation, we are integrating the solution with Ansible and executing a couple of playbooks connected to openSUSE Leap. I would recommend the solution to other users looking for an open-source solution. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Cons

"Additional data security and data privacy features could be proactively recommended by Google."
"I wish there was a way that they could update things a little less often if anything. I think a lot of enterprise customers are frustrated... Certain plug-ins like ad blockers will lose some functionality in the next quarter to half a year."
"There is a need for improved features to refine search results and narrow them down efficiently."

"In the future, the Active Directory could improve."
"Like most Linux-based operating systems, the biggest challenge Leap faces is the GUI."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Google Chrome Enterprise is a medium-priced solution."
"Pricing varies significantly based on different regions and specific requirements. The cost can differ for the Euro price as opposed to the Asia-specific price. Generally, the standard pricing falls within the range of twenty-five to thirty dollars per license. This payment can be structured on a monthly or yearly basis. Opting for the yearly payment plan often comes with an added discount, either directly from Google or through negotiations with your vendor."
"So all I can say is just for us since we just recently re-upped our three-year contract for Google Education Enterprise, whatever the name is for their highest level enterprise...I found the pricing to be pretty reasonable overall."
"We are on a monthly subscription for this solution."
"Yearly payments are to be made towards the licensing costs of Google Chrome Enterprise. It is not an expensive solution. I rate the solution's pricing model a six out of ten. There is a need to pay an extra cost in addition to the solution's standard licensing fees."
"The product price is very good in my opinion."
"openSUSE Leap is an open-source solution that is free of cost."
"The solution is open-source."
"The cost of this solution was reasonable and it was within our budget."
"This is an open-source operating system that can be used free of charge."
