Streamlined workflows with drag and drop convenience but needs enhancements in AI
I use Machine Learning Studio for system reselling and integration Machine Learning Studio is easy to use, with a significant feature being the drag and drop interface that enhances workflow without any complaints. It provides a return on investment and cost savings, proving beneficial for…

Enables us to forecast and pull trends and has an easy installation
My rating for SAP Predictive Analytics would be an eight out of ten. If I have to be bold, I'll probably say that we're building away hours, and we are actually putting a lot of the actual predicting stuff back into the warehouse. So running it very bi-directionally. So I'm not sure what its integration features are at the moment, but that's an area we're going to look into in the next month or so.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Overall, I rate Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio a seven out of ten."
"Visualisation, and the possibility of sharing functions are key features."
"It's good for citizen data scientists, but also, other people can use Python or .NET code."
"The most valuable feature is the knowledge bank, which allows us to ask questions and the AI will automatically pull the pre-prescribed responses."
"The product is well organized. The thing is how we will get the models to work within our code. We have some suggestions there, but we want to gain more experience and be ready to answer that because we are currently working on this and don't have all the answers yet. The tool is well organized. What I am very happy about is the ease of deploying new resources. You can easily create your pipeline within minutes."
"The ability to do the templating and be able to transfer it so that I can easily do multiple types of models and data mining is a valuable aspect of this solution. You only have to set up the flows, the templates, and the data once and then you can make modifications and test different segmentations throughout."
"In terms of what I found most valuable in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, I especially love the designer because you can just drag and drop items there and apply the logic that's already available with the designer. I love that I can use the libraries in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, so I don't have to search for the algorithms and all the relevant libraries because I can see them directly on the designer just by dragging and dropping. Though there's a bit of work during data cleansing, that's normal and can't be avoided. At least it's easy to find the relevant algorithm, apply that algorithm to the data, then get the desired output through Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio. I also like the API feature of the solution which is readily available for me to expose the output to any consuming application, so that takes out a lot of headache. Otherwise, I have to have a developer who knows the API, and I have to have an API app, so all that is completely taken care of by the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio designer. With the solution, I can concentrate on how to improve the data quality to get quality recommendations, so this lets me concentrate on my job rather than focusing on the regular development of APIs or the pipelines, in particular, the data pipelines pulling the data from other sources. All the data is taken care of and you can also concentrate on other required auxiliary activities rather than just concentrating on machine learning."
"The solution is easy to use and has good automation capabilities in conjunction with Azure DevOps."
"The most valuable features are the analytics and reporting."
"I think the features of the actual ability to forecast and pull trends and correlations has been really good."

Cons

"One problem I experience is that switching between multiple accounts can be difficult. I don't think there are any major issues. Mostly, the biggest challenge is to identify business solutions to this. The tool should keep on updating new algorithms and not stay static."
"Overall, the icons in the solution could be improved to provide better guidance to users. Additionally, the setup process for the solution could be made easier."
"Performance is very poor."
"The pricing policy should be improved. I find the pricing to be not a good story in this case, as it is not affordable for everyone."
"Stability-wise, you may face certain problems when you fail to refresh the data in the solution."
"Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio worked okay for me, so right now, I don't have any room for improvement in mind for it. What I'd like added to Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio in its next version is a categorization for use cases or a template that makes the use cases simple to map out, for example, for healthcare, medical, or finance use cases, etc. This would be very helpful for users of Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, especially for beginners."
"The solution cannot connect to private block storage."
"I have found Databricks is a better solution because it has a lot of different cluster choices and better integration with MLflow, which is much easier to handle in a machine learning system."
"This solution works for acquired data but not live, real-time data."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution cost is high."
"We pay only the Azure costs for what we use, which involves some subscription costs. But essentially, you pay for what you use. There are no extra costs in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"The licensing cost is very cheap. It's less than $50 a month."
"The pricing for Microsoft products can be complex due to changes and being cloud-based, so it's not straightforward. I've been familiar with it for years, but sometimes details about product licenses and distribution can be unclear. For Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio specifically, I would rate the price a six out of ten."
"When we got our first models and were ready for the user acceptance testing, our licensing fees were between €2,500 ($2,750 USD) and €3,000 ($3,300 USD) monthly."
"I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, with ten being very expensive. Not very expensive, not very cheap."
"Last year, we paid 60,000 for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio in our department."
"On a scale from one to ten, with ten being overpriced, I would rate the price of this solution at six."
"The pricing is reasonable"
"A free trial version is available for testing out this solution."
